The effect of different proportion of structural carbohydrate and nonstructural carbohydrate (SC/NSC) in ration on internal environment parameters in rumen, digestion and absorption of carbohydrate in gastrointestine, blood nutrition biochemical indices in XuHuai goats were determined, and also the monosaccharides and disaccharides were searched in XuHuai goats'gastrointestine by alimentary canal cannulae technique and arterio-venous fistulaes technique.Chapter 1 Effect of different SC/NSC diets on internal environment parameters in rumen in XuHuai goatsFour XuHuai goats (25.0±2.1Kg) fitted with permanent ruminal cannulaes were used by 4×4 Latin Square design, to study ruminal internal environment parameters of XuHuai goats fed with different SC/NSC in ration A,B,C,D, which were 3.52,2.06,1.28,0.84 respectively. The results showed that rumen pH decreased with the decrease of SC/NSC, and it in group D was lower significantly than that in group A,B,C (P<0.01); Rumen NH3-N concentration and MCP concentration increased with the decrease of SC/NSC, Rumen NH3-N concentration in group D was higher significantly than that in group A,B (P<0.01); MCP concentration in group B,C,D were higher significantly than that in group A (P<0.01); The concentration of total VFA, acetate, propionate and the ratio of propionate increased with the decrease of SC/NSC, but there were no significant difference among group A,B,C,D (P>0.05); Concentration and ratio of butyrate increased with the decrease of SC/NSC, and they in group D were higher significantly than those in group A (P<0.01); The ratio of acetate decreased with the decrease of SC/NSC and it in group A was higher significantly than that in group D (P<0.01); The lowest ratio of acetate to propionate was observed in group C, but there were no significant difference among groupA,B,C,D (P>0.05).Chapter 2 Effect of different SC/NSC diets on digestion and absorption of carbohydrate in gastrointestine of XuHuai goats Four XuHuai goats (25.0±2.1Kg) fitted with permanent ruminal, proximal duodenum and terminal ileum cannulaes were used by 4×4 Latin Square design, to study digestion and absorption of carbohydrate in gastrointestine of XuHuai goats fed with different SC/NSC in ration A,B,C,D, which were 3.52,2.06,1.28,0.84 respectively. The results showed that:1. Proximal duodenum and terminal ileum pH decreased with the decrease of SC/NSC, but there were no significant difference among group A,B,C,D (P>0.05).2.Degradibility of DM,OM,NDF in rumen increased with the decrease of SC/NSC from 1.28~3.52, degradability of DM in group C was higher significantly than that in group A(P<0.01);Degradability of OM and NDF in group C was higher significantly than that in group A(P<0.05), The highest degradability of ADF and starch was observed in group B, but there were no significant difference among group A,B,C,D for ADF (P>0.05),while degradability of starch in group A,B was higher significantly than that in group C,D(P<0.01).3.Bypass starch, digested starch and the digestibility of starch in ration in small intestine and large intestine, and digestibility of starch in large intestine increased with the decrease of SC/NSC from 1.28~3.52, but no significant difference was found among group A,B,C,D. The digestibility of starch in small intestine and the whole intestine decreased in group C,and it was lower significantly than that in groupA,B (P<0.05).4.Digestibility of DM and OM increased with the decrease of SC/NSC in the whole intestine, and it in group D was higher significantly than that in group A (P<0.05);The increasing trend of NDF was found ,but no significant difference was found among group A,B,C,D(P>0.05),also the ADF(P>0.05); The highest digestibility of starch in the whole intestine was observed in group C,and it was higher significantly than that in groupA,B (P<0.05).5. Digestibility of DM and OM increased with the decrease of SC/NSC in the whole gastrointestine, and it in group D was higher significantly than that in group A (P<0.01); Digestibility of NDF increased with the decrease of SC/NSC from 1.28~3.52, and it in group C was higher significantly than that in group A (P<0.01); Digestibility of ADF and starch were not found to decrease until the SC/NSC was 2.09,there was no significant difference among group A,B,C,D,while digestibility of starch in group A,B were higher significantly than that in group C (P<0.05) and higher significantly than that in group D (P<0.01).Chapter 3 Effect of different SC/NSC diets on blood nutrition biochemical indices of XuHuai goats Three XuHuai goats (25.0±1.8Kg) fitted with portal vein and carotid fistulaes were used by 4×3 Latin Square design, to study the blood nutrition biochemical indices of XuHuai goats fed with different SC/NSC in ration A,B,C,D, which were 3.52,2.06,1.28,0.84 respectively. The results showed that: No significant difference was found for concentration of total VFA, acetate and propionate in portal vein blood serum among group A,B,C,D(P>0.05),the highest concentration of TVFA and acetate was observed in group B,and propionate in group C; concentration of butyrate in group C was s higher significantly than that in group B(P<0.01);The ratio of acetate and acetate to propionate in portal vein blood serum decreased with the decrease of SC/NSC from 1.28~3.52,and the ratio of acetate in group C was lower significantly than that in group A,B, (P<0.01), the ratio of acetate to propionate in group C was lower significantly than that in group A (P<0.05),while the ratio of propionate and butyrate increased, the ratio of propionate in group C was higher significantly than that in group A (P<0.05),and the ratio of butyrate in group C was higher significantly than that in group A (P<0.01). Concentration of blood sugar in carotid blood serum increased with the decrease of SC/NSC from 1.28~3.52,and it in group C was higher significantly than that in group A (P<0.01).
