Effect Of Foliar Fertilizer On Yield And Economic Character Of Different Vegetables In The Greenhouse

From conventional to greenhouse planting is an very important approach for vegetable production in our country to change from extensive style to intensive one.Therefore, vegetable production in greenhouse is developing so rapidly that it has been the emphases in developing garden truck.The area of vegetable planting in greenhouse has reached to 20% of the total area of vegetable planting, over than 2 million hectares. The innovation and development of vegetable planting technology in greenhouse have solved radically the problems of shortage of fresh famous excellent special vegetables in winter in north China and transport of vegetables producted in south to north. It can be supplied through the whole year with enough amount and different kinds and enrich the market supply, improving people's daily life level. But scientific fertilization and rational irrigation are the weakness of vegetable production, with the increasing of greenhouse planting area. especially in fertilization, the blindness fertilizer application and irrigation methods are still followed and lead to the wasting of water and fertilizer and the worsening of soil in the garden, such as soil acidification, soil pickleden and harden. It not only limited the increasing of vegetable yield,but also influenced the antidisease,quality and economic benefit,and become the important problem must be solved in present in greenhouse vegetable production.Field plot experiments were conducted to study the effect of RED FRUIT NUMBER 3 and GREEN FRUIT NUMBER 3 that belong to the foliar fertilizer series used for fruits and vegetables developed by ourselves on growth and development of tomato and cucumber in greenhouse.Based on choosing the most suitable concentration of these two products,we focus on studying the effect on yield and economic characters of tomato and cucumber,in order to find an ideal method to increase yield and improve quality of greenhouse vegetables.The main conclusions are as followed:1. RED FRUIT NUMBER 3 not only could increase dramaticly the yield of tomato in greenhouse in suitable concentration, but also promote early ripeness and improve the red fruit ratio and pigmentation degree. The most suitable concentration is dilution 1000 times.2. Dilution 1000 times of red fruit number 3 could increase the fruit length-breadth ratio of tomato by 15.66% and 19.55% respectively,single fruit weight by 41.95% and 46.36% respectively and reduce the irregular fruit ratio by 41.65% and 45.13% respectively contrast with water spraying and CK.it could also promote early ripeness of tomato significantly by 4-7 days. It showed that spraying the foliar fertilizer could enlarge fruit, reduce the irregular fruit ratio, promote early ripeness and pigmentation. Therefore, improve the appearance quality of tomato.3. Dilution 1000 times of red RED FRUIT NUMBER 3 could increase the content of Vc,soluble solid matter, reductive sugar,crude protein and sugar-acid ratio,reduce the content of organic acid and NO₃^--N. So, it could improve the internal quality.4. Spraying GREEN FRUIT NUMBER 3 with two different concentrations of dilution 500 and 1000 times had the significant effect of increasing yield of cucumber in greenhouse whether in winter or in spring, but the latter was better.the best way of the foliar fertilizer application was spraying with dilution 500 times in flowering stage.5. Spaying foliar fertilizer could increase the length, width, weight and number of cucumber and reduce the irregular fruit ratio significantly. Therefore, It could increase the yield and improve economic character of cucumber remarkably.
