In this paper, the characteristic of quality properties of C3F level flue-cured tobacco leaves from four main typical production regions such as Shandong, Hunan, Guizhou and Yunnan was analyzed and evaluated systematically. There were 57 shares materials selected in this test by sensory evaluation. Every sample was identified and analyzed on 75 indexes to explore the common and special characters from the four typical production regions. In order to utilize tobacco leaves reasonably, to improve plant structure distribution and cultivation technique, and also to produce the tobacco leaves which was match and suitable for the development of Chinese-style cigarette, and to provide the theoretical basis for Chinese-style cigarette sustainable development.The results of this paper were as follows:1,The analysis method of important flavor components such as major secondary alkaloids, aroma components and polyphenols were established and optimized. The result showed that: methods were simple, rapid, good repeatability and high recovery; they were suitable for proper quantitative and qualitative analysis, especially for analysis and determination of flavor components in acid, alkaline and neutral environment. This study adopted non-disjunction to simplify pretreatment and avoid experimental error during in injection.2,In the four typical flue-cured tobacco production regions, the species of main chemical components of identification indexes were almost same, but relative content and composition proportion of various components existed obvious differences. There was a close relation between important aroma component and aroma type. The content of important aroma components were higher in enriched flavor tobacco, and also the kinds of relative higher content were more; The content of important aroma components was also higher in clear flavor tobacco and the kinds of relative higher content were more, next to enriched flavor tobacco; The content of important aroma components were less than enriched flavor tobacco and clear flavor tobacco, the kinds of significant advantage important aroma components were relatively small.3,Screening the main chemical components by factor and stepwise regression analysis, selected 46 indexes as comprehensive evaluation indexes. By verification, the indexes which selected had great influence on quality of tobacco leaves, through systematic cluster analysis, samples were classified according to production regions effectively.4,The average content of different varieties from the same production regions by cluster analysis, it was obvious that cluster result of the four typical production regions, which explain that content level of the main chemical components had close relationship with cultivars.5,It can be conclude from 3 and 4: For the style of tobacco leaves quality characteristics, the effects of production regions much greater than varieties.
