Weed,rice stalk,pig excrement and other organic wastes were chosen as materials to compost,with ventilating compost and conventional compost treatments.During composting process,the physics and chemistry character changes were studied,the maturity of compost was evaluated.Also the application effects of composts in vegetable production through comparing by different fertilizering treatments were analyzed.The results indicated:1.Ventilating treatment was more advantageous to rise composting temperature,also it was more advantageous to maintain the contents of total nitrogen,organic nitrogen,humic acid,available phosphorus and available potassium.2.Conventional treatment was advantage to water content maintenance. pH and inorganic nitrogen content of conventional compost were higher than ventilating compost at 32nd day.3.The C/N of ventilating treatment was closer approach to the microorganism mycelium's C/N at 32nd day,as well as the germinate index of ventilating treatment was 33.4%higher than conventional treatment at 32nd day,its maturity effect was far better than conventional treatment.4.Two kinds of dissimilar conditions composts were applied in flowering Chinese cabbage cultivation,compound fertilizer,organic fertilizer and control treatment were added to make comparison.In five treatments, compound fertilizer was more advantageous to increase the height and fresh weight of the flowering Chinese cabbage,ventilating compost was more advantageous to increase the protein and soluble sugar contents of flowering Chinese cabbage,organic fertilizer was more advantageous to increase chlorophyll and Vitamin C contents of flowering Chinese cabbage.Each growing and quality index of flowering Chinese cabbage in ventilating compost treatment was higher than conventional compost treatment,in harvesting period,the height and fresh weight of flowering Chinese cabbage in ventilating compost treatment were 8.71cm and 9.88g higher than convention compost treatment,also the protein,soluble sugar,chlorophyll and Vitamin C content of flowering Chinese cabbage in ventilating treatment was 0.49 mg/g,0.12%,0.18 mg/g and 4.55mg/kg higher than conventional compost treatment,respectively.
