Three experiments were involved in this study, Mainly study the effect of different feed type on urinary excretion of purine derivatives (PD) in young bufflor. In the first experiment, Three young buffalos (24-month-old) were selected to divide into three periods, the effects of feeding same level DM, concentrate and roughage ratio in ration of three periods were 20:80(A),35:65(B),50:50(C), respectively . Three concentrate ration levels (four treatments): A: 1.19 kg/d; B: 2.07 kg/d; C: 2.96 kg/d. Digestive-metabolism trial of each period was 17 days, including 12 days prefeeding and 5 days collecting samples. Three ration treatments were : concentrate 1.19kg, roughage 22.96 kg; concentrate 2.07kg, roughage 18.63; concentrate 2.96kg, roughage 14.33 kg respectively. The results showed that the apparent digestibility of DM,0M, CP and the degradable nitrogen increased when intake level of concentrate ration increased; Fecal nitrogen were significantly decreased by concentrate ration level(P<0.05); nitrogen balance were significantly decreased by concentrate ration level(P<0.05); The digestibility of energy was significantly different(P<0.01); Urinary excretion of PD significantly increased with the increasing concentrate ration level (P<0.05), three treatment were : 18.81mmol/d,19.40mmol/d and 22.27mmol/d respectively; allantoin in urine was more significantly than uric acid.when concentrate: roughage was 50:50 MN was most significan increased(PO.Ol).In the second experiment, the effect of the different feed intake on PD excreation, was investigated. Three buffalos was used for three period digestive-metabolism trial , each period was 17 days including 12 days prefeeding and 5 days collecting samples. Three levels of feed intake were 95%(A),80%(B),65%(C), The results showed that PD excretion was significantly decresed with feed intake decreased.MN was the lowest when feedintake was 65%In the third experiment, the effect of the different urea addition in ration on PD excreation was researed. Three buffalos was used for three period digestive-metabolism trial. three treatments were concentrate 3kg+elephant-grass 16.6kg+15g urea(A); 3kg +elephant-grass 16.6kg+30g urea(B); 3kg +elephant-grass 16.6kg+45g urea(C). The results showed that the apparent digestibility of nutrient digestion in treatment B were highest, but no significant difference between other treatment. Nitrogen balance of treatment A was highest, and no significant difference between other treatment; The N apparent digestibility of treatment B was highest; The energy apparent digestibility of treatment B was highest;PD excretion has no significant difference between different urea ration.the PD excretion of three treatment were 26.61 mmol/d,27.43 mmol/d and 23.90 mmol/d, and treatment B was most, no significant difference between treatment(p>0.05).when urea intake was 30g/d MN was the most.
