This paper studied the efforts of polyethylene glycol (PEG)-simulated drought stress with different concentration on 6 Avena nude L.seeds in the germination period. The germination rate, the germination potential, the length of radical, hypocotyls and the radical/ hypocotyls ratio were measured. The results showed that PEG treatment with different concentration have centain effect on the germination of stressed seeds. Under 5%PEG of the low concentration could stimulate seeds germination rate of 6 different Avena nude L. Under15% PEG stress, seeds germination was retarded.The retarding functions increased with increasing PEG concentration. There is significant difference between seeds germination of different cultivars. The drought resistance ability of 6 Avena nude L. in the germination period was determinated.The results showed that the order of drought resistance ability of6 Avena nude L. is NEONï¹¥Dingyou1ï¹¥Mayingï¹¥Qingyongjiu887ï¹¥qingyongjiu747ï¹¥Neimen.Alive rate of 6 Avena nude L.was measured after stoping watering at each three days.The result showed Mayin naked oat,DingyouNo.1 have relaltive strong drought .Qingyunjiu747 naked oat,Qingyunjiu887 naked oat stand middle;Neimen naked oats,NEON naked oat have relative weak resistance drought.Adopting consecutive drought resistance method, the drought resistance of 6 Avena nude L. at seeding stage was comprehensively identified and evaluated every 4 days. The physiological indexes were measured and analyzed. The results showed that, as the stress of drought was intensified, relative water content of leaves, content of chlorophyll of plants were decreased. Meanwhile, relative .electrical conductivity rate, the content of praline accumulation and malondialdehyde were increased. In term of analyzing indexes, the drought resistance of 6 Avena nude L. was divided. The stronger drought resistance including Maying naked oat, Dingyou1 naked oats; the medium drought including Qingyunjiu887, NEON; the weaker drought including Neimen naked oat, number 9 naked oat.
