Vegetables facility cultivation could result in continuous cropping soil appear disease, namely the continuous cropping plant will bring on reduction of production or no any production, and the cucumber, the watermelon and the melon especially are serious for being affected by it. Generally this kind of disease has no effective pesticide, is only solved by grafting seedling technology. Grafting seedling could not only overcome continuous cropping disease, but also enhance output about 20%, increase cold hardiness of the crop, advance the time to market of fruits and vegetables. It is an effective and sustainable increasing production technology. However, grafting mainly is manual operation in China now, so the productivity and the survival rate are not high enough. Moreover, culturing grafting seedling is a highly technical work, grafting performance and healing management seedlings grafted need high technical level. The above reasons restricted the wide promotion and application of culturing grafting seedlings. Therefore developing the cicatrisation equipment and enhancing grafting productivity become inevitable trend to widespread apply the grafting seedling technology.The artificial climate room has been studying from the end of 80's last century in Japan. It has been used in the industrial seedlings from 1990.There is no cicatrisation equipment in China.We only have the growth room or the artificial climate box, and the price is too expensive, such as the price of the artificial climate box with the volume of 300 liters is at ten or twenty thousand, and the box is not used for grafting seedlings. The needs that the cicatrisation requests were not satisfied using this room. This case restricted the wide promotion of culturing grafting seedlings. According to the situation, the cicatrization room has been developed by the Northeast Agricultural University, and the price of it is approximately at five thousand. But there are two problems exist in all the cicatrisation equipment above, one is that they are not suit for the mass seedlings, the other is that the price is too expensive to satisfy the condition of China. The research was based on a number of experiments.Fistly, the small arch awning was developed, and then the experiment of determining the temperature and relative humidity and the contrastive cicatrization experiment had been done in it.The conclusion showed that the temperature and relative humidity can satisfy the requirements of cicatrization. The advantage of root out was confirmed. At last, the geometric parameters of the graft seedlings were studied and the essential sizes were obtained, the full-pressure system and the model were designed, a number of experiments of cicatrizing the graft seedlings had been done through simulating the temperature of March, April, and May in northeast.The best conditions were determined, and the cicatrization successful proportion amounted to 90 percents. The design requirements were satisfied.
