Rice blast has been reported from most rice growing countries around the world. The disease was the most widely epidemic and most serious devastating among the rice production. The planting of variety resistant to the disease was recognized as the most efficient and economic means of controlling rice blast. However, the rapid differentiation of pathogenicity and rapid occurrence of complex physiological race of Pyricularia grisea led directly to the breakdown of resistance in several years. Thus, the improvement of blast resistance was very important; it was the economic and efficient critical mean for controlling rice blast. Kongyu 131 rice plants were treated with probenazole through irrigating roots, and rice blast resistance was identified by in vitro inoculation. It maked clear that the best dose of probenazole was 50μg/mL and it needed more than 4 days of rice to induce resistance. The rice leaf proteins were isolated by two-dimensional electrophoresis (2-DE). 2-DE maps of induced and control group were analyzed by PDQuest8.0.1, and obtained 10 differentially expressed proteins (over 2 times). The 8 proteins of which were identified by mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF-MS). All proteins got the peptide mass fingerprinting (PMF) sucxessfully. They were matched after mascot database searching. Of which, the P1 protein, P3 protein and P4 protein could enhanced disease resistance of rice by increasing respiration metabolism of plants; P2 protein might improve disease resistance of rice though degradation of protein destroyed on plants and degradation of protein in pathogen; P5 protein could enhance disease resistance by promoting synthesis of sugar; P6 protein and P7 protein had capable of scavenging of active oxygen, they might improve disease resistance of rice through regulating balance of active oxygen metabolism and scavenging of active oxygen against plant cell. The molecular mechanism of which probenazole induces rice has resistance against blast was the function of various factor cooperate on protein level.
