Chitosan can be used as soil improvers, pests and diseases-removal agents, as well as herbicides controlled agents and so on. In seed-coating agents and forestry, one great innovation movement in forestry breed will be raised in the future. The Tenebrio motitor Linnaeus is one kind of insects which is easy to raise, is omnivorous and contains high protein. Frequently it serves as feed, feed additive and directly edible food. At present, protein already has been extracted in factory from it, exuviae often was abandons when protein extraction. Waste can became useful when exuviae was extracted from Tenebrio motitor Linnaeus exuviae. Therefore, we seek to find one best technological condition of extraction by orthogonal testing method. In this paper, seed-coating agents are applied in seed and research on insect-resistant of chitosan were studied, the main results were as follows:(1) We researched on the ability of seed-coating agents of anti-insect and pressing growth in the field of forest breeding and established its feasibility in forestry. We used seed-coating agents to coat eight kinds of seed, such as Vitex negundo L, C.funebris, Pinus armandii Franch, Pinus massoniana Lamb., Robinia pseudoacacia L., Pinus tabulae -formis., C.japonica, Amorpha fruticosa L. Hen cultured them at room temperature, and observed the bud rate and growth of these seed. Meanwhile we carried out an anti-insect experiment in Kangding, Sichuan. We analyzed the effect of four kinds of seed-coating agents. The result proved that 22%Thirm·Amyl alcohol+BH101 is best to press growth, and the bud rate of those seed coated by seed-coating agents increased remarkably.(2) Influence test result on different technological conditions of extraction chitosan from flour weevil exuviae indicate: When albumenose-free nature the sodium hydroxide density, escapes when the acetazolamide the sodium hydroxide density, the response time and the temperature are influential to the chitosan's extraction rate and the appearance quality. Obtained the Tenebrio motitor Linnaeus exuviae chitin / chitosan the optimum extraction condition and the dissimilar condition to the product target influence through the orthogonal test, The best technological conditions to use 6% sodium hydroxide to process 3.5 h first in the temperature 85°C situation, then with the reaction temperature 90°C, in the sodium hydroxide density 40% situations reaction time 14 h, the chitosan receives rate reaches about 17%, escapes the acetazolamide to be bigger than 75%. To the chitosan product production rate's influence most remarkable factor is the caustic concentration, next is the reaction time, once more for reaction temperature.(3) The effect of chistosan (CS) on the sprout of several seeds and physiological and biochemical characteristic of several seedling was studied by the treatment of different CS stress (0.1%,0.2% and 0.3% w/w) on the seeds and seedlings of Pinus massoniana, Koelreuteria paniculata, Acacia farnesiana, Robinia pseudoacacia, Corn, Wheat. The result showed that: the germination rate, germinating energy, growth of seedling and vigour index of several seeds are higher than that of control; After spraying the solution of CS on the leaves of seedling in growth, the chlorophyll and soluble protein are greatly improved; The CS has concentration effect within a range of centain concentration, 0.2 % of CS treatment got the optimum effect.(4) In the experiment of selecting seed-coating agents and filmogen, through selecting waxy corn starch, chitosan and carboxymethylcellulose sodium to judge filmogen's quality in the pH value, the film-forming time and the determination of the abscission rate. The result indicated that filmogen has better film forming performance, carries on the coating under the natural condition, can cure and film-form rapidly, and adheres to reliably in seed's surface, not to fall off, not adhesion, not conglobation.
