| Sheep and goat industry in Yulin area has been rapidly developed in recent years,but at the same time some infections, especially from parasites, have brought great damage to sheep and goat farming. In the article, 1200 goats fromYulin area,were used to make the epidemiological investigation of parasite infections and drug trials against parasites with Dachongjing (albendazole), avermectin and praziquantel.Faecal samples from 1200 goats randomly selected from Yulin district were examined to determine the prevalence of parasite infections in Yulin area. The result showed that the average infection rate was 81.67%, and the infection rates of nematode, trematode and cestode were 59.33%, 33.08% and 27.33%, respectively. In this study, 16 kinds of helminth eggs or larvae were detected, including10 kinds of nematode eggs, 3 kinds of trematode eggs and 3 kinds of cestode eggs, which are Chabertia sp, Trichostrongylus spp, Hemonchus contortus, Nematodirus sp, Dictyocaulu filaria (larva), Bunostomum trigonocephalum, Oesophagostomum spp, Gongylonema pulchrum, Trichostrongylus ovis, Ostertagia circumcincta, Moniezia sp, Helictrometa giardi, Avitelina centripunctata, Fasciola hepatica, D icrocoelium lanceatum, Orientobilharzia spp. The predominant species in digestive tract of this area were H. contortus and B. trigonocephalum, the infection rates were 55.7% and 44.83%, respectively. The infection rate of coccidia was 37.83%, and 5 kinds of oocysts were found, which are Eimeria ahsata, E. arloingi, E. faurei, E. granulose, E. intricata. 22 kinds of parasites were found in the goats by dissection which belong to 11family and 18genera. The total infection rate in goats was 75%. The species were identified as F. hepatica, D. lanceatum, O. bomfordi, M. benedeni, M. expansa, T. giardi, A. centripunctata, Cysticercus tenuicollis, Coenurus cerebralis, C. ovina, T. colubriformi, H. contortus, N. oiratianus, D. filaria, B. trigonocephalum, O. asperum, O. columbianum, G. pulchrum, T. ovis, T. gazellae, T. globulosa, O. circumcincta.Dachongjing (fenbendazole), avermectin and praziquantel were orally used to make deworming trials in 60 goats infected naturally with parasites, respeetively with 6, 0.2, 20 mg/kg body weight. Eggs or larvae of worms were respeetively examined before administration and on the seventh day after administration. The result showed that antinematodal drugs were effeetive against worms, the reduction rates were 91.61%, 95.72% and 94.79%, and the deworming rates were 96.07%, 97.38% and 96.46%, respectively. |
