Arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi have been shown to play a key role in maintaining plant health. It can improve absorption of nutrients of crops, expant the scope of roots absorb, promot growth, increase production, improve resilience to improve the quality / capacity of resistance. In the experiment a kind of cucurnber "Zhongnong 16"was used as experimental material in greenhouse. The author started working on the influence of AM inoculation on growth, development of cucumber seedling, and mechanism of increasing resistance to Rh.s by cucumber induced by AM fungi. Then a series of experiments was carried out systematically to study the effect of AMF on growth, yield and quality of the latter part of the growth of cucumber. The expertment draw the following conclusions:(1) When cucumber seedlings inoculated with two AMF strains(Glomus versiforme,Glomus mosseae-2)under organic culture, vermiculite&peat and garden soil different effect on growth in AM plants was observed compared to CK and Glomus versiforme under organic culture was screened out as the best strains for cucumber growth. It can evidently increase the content of chlorophy and soluble suger and increase photosynthetic rate of cucumber.(2) The effect of AMF was infludeced by physical and chemical properties of matrix. The plants inoculated with GM GV in garden soil which have the highest P level have the lowest infection rates which are 20.7% 23.2%. GV GM infection rate was 47.4 percent and 40.3 percent in the soil organic which have the lowest P concentration. Mycorrhizal inoculation of cucumber in vermiculite peat and garden soil have a negative effect. GV is less sensitive in different P level and effective than GM under high P level. But in low P level GM is more effective. The permeability of organic culture, vermiculite&peat was better, it beneficial to the development of AMF. Vermiculite&peat would be a good nursery substrate for cucumber inoculated by AMF without fertilization.(3) When cucumber seedlings inoculated with mycorrhizal fungi it can significantly enhance the ability of cucumber resistance. After inoculated Rhizoctonia solani incidence rates of AM cucumber seedlings and non-AM cucumber seedlings were 16.5% and 52.0%. The mean disease index of cucumber seedling inoculated with AMF was 78.5% lower than that of the control respectively, moreover, there were most obvious the differences between the treatments and the control.(4) Before disease occerrence the sysbiosis of AMF and host plant had formed and the mechanisms of disease resistance had been started. The inoculation of AMF enhanced plant grewth and improved the activity of protect enzyme. During disease occurred AMF and pathogens compete with each other. AMF inhibited the infection of bacteria against host plant. It manifested on activity of Reactive-Oxygen-Scavenging Enzymes insensitive to the inoculation of pathogens.Degree of membrane lipids peroxidation depressed The damage of cell membrane was smaller.(5) Potted experment showed that inoculation of AMF on cucumber under organic culture could promote the growth of cucumber, increase the yield, improved qualities. Inoculation of AMF could increase the yield 39.9% compare to countral. It also evaluating Vc contents, soluble sugar, dry weight, the content of N,P,K.(6) Fiele experment showed that inoculation of AMF on cucumber could increase the yield, improved qualities, increase photosynthetic rate, evalate soluble suger content of leafe, enhance plant disease resistance. Compared whith other treatments AMF play better function in soil. But in late time inoculated with AMF in organic culture had a better function。...
