The record of production of 21569 Inner Mongolia Cashmere goats was analyzed from 1997 to 2007. The effects of nine factors (the tested year, the field, the sex, the age, mother age, the birth type, the birth month, the weaned age, the birth order) on cashmere production traits(the yield of cashmere, the degree of cashmere fineness, cashmere thick, the wool length, the body weight of Cashmere goat) and on early growth traits(the birth weight, the weaning weight, the daily weight gain, the yearling weight) were studied. This research would reveal the relationship between cashmere production traits, early growth traits and non-heredity factors, furthermore offered theory and data support about determining the time of early breeding and elimination. The results showed that the effects of the tested year, the field, the age, mother age on the traits of Cashmere goat were significant and the sex affected significantly on the traits of Cashmere goat, except for degree of cashmere fineness. The birth order had significant effects on the yield of cashmere, the wool length and early growth traits. The birth type had significant effects on the degree of cashmere fineness, the body weight of Cashmere goat, the birth weight, the weaning weight and the daily weight gain. The birth month had significant effects on the yield of cashmere, the birth weight and the weaning weight. The weaned age had significant effects on the birth weight, the weaning weight, the daily weight gain and the yearling weight.
