Taking the Ephedra sinica as the study object, this research had been done on the germination and the content of the medicinal ingredients by low energy N~+ ions implantation. The result of study indicated that the germination rates of the seeds had changed after the processing of the ion beam. When the dosage was 300, the germination rate was the highest of all. Compared with the comparison, it increased 17%. At same time, the content of the alkaloid and the flavanonids also changed by low energy N~+ ions implantation. When the dosage was 900, the alkaloid content enhanced obviously, on the contrary the content of flavanonids reduced evidently.By marinating the seeds of ephedra sinica with different concentration of colchicin, a efficacious device was looked forward to seeking which can promote the content of the alkaloid and the flavanonids. The experiment proved that the colchicin with different concentration effected the synthesizing of these secondary metabolites. When the concentration was 0.02%~0.1% , the alkaloid content increased and the flavanonids content reduced. On the contrary, when the concentration was 0.1%~0.5% , the alkaloid content reduced and the flavanonids content increased.By the method of Tissue culture, based on MS Culture medium which appended different amino acids, we did the research on the growth , the alkaloid content and the flavanonids content of the callus initiation. The result indicated five amino acids could hasten the growth except Met, and Phe was the best. To the alkaloid and the flavanonids content, all these five amino acids were negative effects.
