Myiasis is a kind of disease caused by insects in Ostridae.By present,151 species are identified in 3 subfamilies in Ostridae, and the species in Hypodermatinae especially cause the animal production reduce.Species infesting Bovine,Caprinae, and Antilopinae in Hypodermatinae are:H,bovis,H.lineatum,H.sinense,H.diana,H.aecton and H.tarandi in Hypoderma;Pavlovskiata subgutturosae in Pavlovskiata;Pallasiomyia antilopum in Pallasiomyia;Pr.aenigmatica,Pr.orongonis,Pr.corinnae and Pr.silenus in Przhevalskiana. In year 2005 and 2006 a few larvae of Hypodermatinae in stage 2 and 3 were found in chirus. In order to indentify this unknown species,we characterize it morphologically and molecularly.Morphologically, the pseudocephalon, the spines(especially the spines on the tenth ventral segment) and the spiracular plates in 3 stage larvae in H.bovis,H.lineatum, H.sinense and the unkown larva that all persent in China are listed;other species which doesn't exist in China are also considered by citing the references. In the result,1) our unknown larvae is characterized by a pair of large fleshy, conical protuberances well-separated on their basis;2) more differences are showed both in spines and the spiracular plates;3) although, our larva have the same protuberances as same as Pallasiomyia antilopum, the host, distribution, profile, spines, spiracular plates and the pseudocephalon in stage 2 larva are distinct from each other. Therefore, our unknown larvae from chirus are a species belonging non of the unknown species in Hypodermatinae, and should be in genus Pallasiomyia.Molecularly, patial sequences of the subunit I of cytochrome oxidase(COI) and 16S rRNA are used to species identification. The sequences of our Larva are analysed and compared with other species in Hypodermatinae by phylogenetic tree. After that,we found the similarity also shows our larva should be an independent species.Considering the differences in morphology and molecule, our larva found in chirus is a new species in genus Pallasiomyia.Dr.Chantal Boulard is the president of INRA in France. She contributed much to Chinense hypodermosis research, diagnosis and prevention. To show our friendship,we sugget to name our larva as her name as Pallasiomyia boulard.
