It was conducted in 2006 to research the correlation,combining ability and heritability for 12 rice agronomic traits of 50 F1 rice hybrids with a NCII heredity model design between 10 male-sterile lines and 5 restore lines.It was also be evaluated to the breeding utilization of these new restores Lines.The main results were showed:1.The variance of the general combining ability(GCA) and the special combining ability(SCA) for 12 agronomic traits were significantly different.There were extreme significant or significant levels of GCA and SCA with the final leaf length,plant height,panicle length,total spikelets per panicle,1000 grain weight and single plant yield.There were extreme significant levels of SCA with growth duration,effective panicle and filled grain per panicle.There were extreme significant or significant levels to GCA and SCA, which were both effected by male-sterile lines,with the seed setting rate and filled grain per panicle.There were extreme significant or significant levels to GCA and SCA,which were both effected by restore lines, with yield per day.There were gene additive effects for plant height,panicle length,spikelets density and 1000 grain weight.There were main gene non-additive effects for other characters.2.There were extreme significant correlation between the single plant yield and the panicle length or seed setting rate,also between total grain per panicle and final leaf length or grain density on a panicle,filled grains per panicle.。There were significant correlation between the single plant yield and the filled grain per panicle or 1000 grain weight,also between seed setting rate and the filled grain per panicle. There were negative extreme significant correlation between the single plant yield and spikelets density on a panicle,between setting grain rate and final leaf length or total spikelets per panicle,or spikelets density on a panicle.There were negative significant correlation between the total spikelets per panicle and growth duration or plant height,seed setting rate.There were non-significant correlation between the single plant yield and other characters.3.The order of broad heritability was:growth duration>final leaf length>plant height>seed setting rate>1000 grain weight>single plant yield>yield per day>grain density on a panicle>filled grain per panicle>effective panicle per plant>total spikelets per panicle>panicle length.The order of narrow heritability was:plant height>1000 grain weight>grain density on a panicle>final leaf length>panicle length>single plant yield>total spikelets per panicle>seed setting rate>yield per day>effective panicle per plant>growth duration>filled grain per panicle.4.The R534 and R136 were two good restorer lines in breeding application for their fine combining ability and integrate agronomic traits.
