The paper is about the studies on the fauna and ecology of soil oribatid mites in Qufu Konglin region.Through sentinel quantitative regularly collected soil samples in Qufu Konglin region.A total of 12738 specimens were obtained from(8934 were identified) the region. The soil oribatid mites identified accurately belong to 45 species 27 generas 16 families. It contains 18 kinds of new records in China, and the China new record species were drawn feature.Biogeographic analysis is made with 45 species in order to reflect the character of soil oribatid mites distribution extensively. The oribatid mites have 6 distribution patterns in the zoogengraphic region of the world. The ancient species North 6,Ancient North sector-a total of Oriental sector of 25 account for 55.56%,Ancient North sector-the new realm of a total of eight, account for 17.78%and Ancient North endemic six sector, account for 13.33%.If the cross-species included, the regional distribution sector in Japan for 27 species accounts for 60%.The oribates mites have 12 distribution patterns in zoogeographic region of china,One area in northern China for 19 endemic species, accounting for 42.22%,North China region-Northeast-Southwest a total of five species, accounting for 11.11%,North China-North China and central China areas-Northeast are a total of four kinds, accounting for 8.89%.Through an analysis of the soil mite community composition in the region, the results shows that Nothrus asiaticus Aoki et ohnishi and another four mites are the dominant groups in the region and it is also found that the dominant groups in every region are also different. The analysis of MGP showed that the result of MGPâ… and MGPâ…¡in the soil mites of this region are all P-type,which is that the higher mites account for a higher proportion of the quantity and type while the lower ones account for a lower proportion. This paper also study the seasonal quantity variation of the individual mite. The results shows that the laws of the seasonal individual quantity variation in every region are basically same which are that the number of individual mite is the largest in spring and autumn while the number is the smallest in summer, but there are also differences. An analysis of community diversity and similarity is also done. From the results of the analysis we.can see that the habitat and human activities is an important factor that affects the mite diversity, which is mainly that the diversity index of sample B(the grass) is lower as a result of much too human disturbance factor while the index of the other ones is higher due to less interference. At the same time we can see that a similar habitat is the basis of the similar communities, which is mainly displayed that the more similar the vegetation types are,the higher coefficient of similar communities is.
