The hybrid progeny ewes of Suffolk and Hu Sheep were selected to observe their reproduction performance,FecB genes in those ewes were detected, and their lambing results and the growth and development data in different generations lambs were recorded.1.The synchronous estrus rates of F1 and F2 generations were 97.23%and 95.83% respectively, and the synchronous estrus and pregnancy rate of estrus of F1 generations were better than that of F2 generations as well.2.The average lambing rate of F1 generations was higher than that of F2 generations, there were more wild-type gene ewes than fecundity gene ewes in F2 generations. Some special characteristics of Hu Sheep began to isolate.Following the advance of hybridization, the occurrence frequency of B+ and B in ewes significantly went down, and that of ++ and + went up.This indicated that the lambing rate of next generations would significantly decrease following the advance of hybridization.3.The gaining weight of F1 hybrid lambs in 60,75,90,105,120 days were significantly higher than that of Hu Sheep lambs in same ages(P<0.05).4.The growth and development of different genet-type of FecB in F2 and F3 hybrid generations were different. The average lambing rate of ewes with fecundity genes was higher than that of ewes with wild type genes, whereas, the average lambing and weaning weight of ewes with fecundity genes were lower than that of ewes with wild type genes.
