Study On The Functional Effect And Constructing Technology Of Urban Forest

At present, mankind is facing serious global environmental challenges, especially the urban ecological environment and forest fragmentation are increasingly deteriorating. The urban forest, as a biological filter of the urban environment, plays an irreplaceable role in improving the urban ecological environment. Introducing forest to cities and calling for return to the green are becoming the world's common goals.With the pace of urbanization process increasing, the importance and urgency of the urban forest development is becoming more and more obvious. This article comprehensively expounded the necessity of the urban forest construction in China, analysed the characteristics and development trend of the urban forest construction in China and present development idea according to the urban forest construction in China. We proposed the development strategy of the urban forest construction on the base of analyzing the urban forest construction problems in China and with the situation of China and its cities.Forest in cities is the pillar of the ecological balance; urban forest construction quality is a major vector of enhancing the image of the cities and an important part of sustainable development of forests. In this paper, according to the forest construction practice in cities, and checking out some relavant data and using some relavant achievements and successful experience for reference, we analysed the ecological, economic and social benefit of urban forest and the function of constructing an ecological cities, and pointed out urban forest is the nessesity of urban development and an important symbol of an modernized city.Urban forest plays an irreplaceable role in the optimization of urban ecological environment, maintaining the urban ecological security and enhancing the urban ecological civilization. Thus, the constructing technology of urban forest has become an important theoretical and practical issue in urban forest construction. This paper elaborates the basic principles and plan of the urban forest construction and analyzed the the urban forest construction technology mainly from three aspects: selection of tree species, configuration of plant community and the main distribution pattern.It is the only way for urban development in the new century that we should speed up the pace of the urban forest construction, improve the urban ecological conditions, maintain and protecte the urban biological diversity, enhance the urban comprehensive competitiveness and promote the urban sustainable development. The construction and development of urban forests is an inevitable choice for urban sustainable development and the constrction of an affluent, prosperous, civilized, peaceful, harmonious and beautiful city.
