| Mallotus apelta(Lour.) Muell.-Arg.,paulonia plant Various parts may be used as medicine, and various parts contain a mass of oil.It May be a new energy plant such as the oil in the seeds may reach as high as 41.53%.Mallotus apelta as material to be photomicroscopy of sections were carried out using a light microscope and unifies wilderness observation to build a systematic study on Morphology and Anatomy of Mallotus apeltal. The results are as follows:1 Morphology observation of Mallotus apeltal.(1)Mallotus apelta mostly flower unisexual and dioecism.,The male catkin and acrogenous; The female catkin and acrogenous or adnation but also little hermaphrodite;(2)The white epidermis glandular hair covered the stem, the leaf and the flower.(3) The male have 5 sepal, does not have the flower petal,50~75 stamens;(4)The females have 3~5 sepal, pistil is comeposed by 3~6 loculed and have 1 anatropous ovules in each locule;3~6 styles. Featheriness stigma;(5)capsule.2 Anatomy of vegetative organs:(1)Root:It is pentarch, casparian strip is distinctness;(2)Stem:stem is composed byepidermis,Cortex and stele.Epidermis have glandular hair;(3)Leaf:leaf got one palisade tissue and 2 or 3 palisade tissue, glandular hair cover upper and lower epidermis.3 Anatomy of reproductive organs:(1)Stamen:50~75 stamens, apocarpous, anther have 2 anther chamber and each anther chamber have 2 pollen saces;(2)Pistil:①The ovary is 3~6 loculed and has 1 anatropous ovules in each locule.Axile placenta;syncarpous carpel. The ovules ofMallotus apelta are anatropous, crassinucellate Micropyle is formed by the double integument,no hypostase.Axile placenta;②3~6 styles.and the styles is solid;③Featheriness stigma.4 Development of stamen and pistil:(1)Anther development:Anther walls were consisted of four layers of epidermis, endothecium, middle layers and tapetum. Formation of anther walls was of the Dicotyledonous type. The tapetum was of heteromorphic and glandular type;(2)Ovule and integument developmen.5 Development of megaspore and microspores(1)Development of microspores and formation of pollen grain:Cytokinesis in the microsporocyte meiosis was of the simultaneous type.Microspore tetrads were tetrahedral or medianly zwomorphic. Mature pollen grains were 2-celled and had 3 germ furrows;(2)Development of megaspore and formation of embryo sac:The ovule has a layer of parietal cells at the sporogenous stage.Sporogenous cell develops into a megaspore mother cell. The development of the embryo sac is Allium type.Chalazal end of mature embryo sac is narrow and elongated. The ovule doesn't has hypostase structures.Antipodal cells are lephemerality.6 Development of embryo and endosperm:(1)The embryo growth is similar to the ASTER,Basal cell growth retardation;(2)The early development of endosperm is nuclear type. |
