The extraction of Radix peucedani belonged to Umbelliferae had the ability to induce risistance to rice blast and chilleness. In terms of safe use,low cost and great compatibility with environment, accordingly,resistance inducer of botanical resource had been researched a lot. Therefore, the three single components isolated from Radix peucedani by pesticide lab in hunan agricultural university, were able to induce resistance to rice blast and chilleness.This paper focused on the preliminary research on biochemical mechanism of induced resistance to rice blast and chilliness. the major results were concluded as follows:1.active variation of PPO,POD,LOX,SOD,PAL and MDA had impact on the ability to resist rice blast. By treatments of QA,QB and QC, POD activity was higher than water treatment as CK, as well as PPO, LOX,SOD,PAL and MDA,and POD activity was respectively up to 160.92U·g-1·min-1,192.25U·g-1·min-1 and 168.25U·g-1·min-1,. at the same time,the effect of QA,QB and QC on induced resistance to rice blast was significant compared with water treatment as CK,conclusion was drawn that accretion of these enzymes enhanced capability of induced resistance to rice blast.2. Probenazde was pesticide sold in the domestic market.Compared with Probenazde as CK, active variation of five enzymes after three treatments of QA,QB and QC accorded with active variation of these after Probenazde treatment as CK.This evidence demonstrated the tight link between activity of these five enzymes and effect on induced resistance to rice blast.3. Via the experiment of correlation between the five indexes and effect on induced resistance to rice blast,coefficient of correlation about five indexes was so low, that we can speculate that induced resistance of plants was a systematical process where many factors didn't act alone but affected each other mutually. As a result,all the indexes should be taken in account together to study the process through better way to analyse.4.Tthe results showed,by the experiment about effect of defensive enzymes,chlorophyll,soluble protein,praline on induced resistance to chilliness, that ability to resist chilliness rised as activities of these indexes increased.5.the results showed,through the experiment of correlation between the defensive enzymes of SOD,POD,CAT and effect on induced resistance to chilliness,SOD activity highest correlated with effect on induced resistance to chilliness, coefficient of correlation were respectively 0.853,0.9995和0.7075; CAT is the second, separately 0.7652,0.5041和0.3754; POD is the lowest.
