Study On The Effect Of Crossbreeding Between Bore Goat And Matou Goat

Boer goats and Matou goats are the famous meat breed in the world. In this paper, we investigated the 0-3 months lambs' growing performance, birth weight, body weight and body size of the first filial generation between Bore goat and Matou goat (called Boer×Matou F1) and compared with Matou goats. The results showed that: 1) the birth weight of F1 is 2.89g that increased by 48.2% compared with Matou goats which is very significant (P<0.01), the weight at age of 1 month, 2 month and 3 month raised by 25%, 31% and 34.2%, respectivelys, all of which have the significant difference (P<0.05). 2) Compared with Matou goats, the body sizes and the physical bodies of F1 increased. On average, 1-3 months body height body length and chest circumferences increased 2.07cm, 1.46cm and 1.05cm, respectively.The results of 2-month lamb fattening experiment showed that: it has the best fattening effect under the condition of feeding in the shed. On average, daily gains of Matou were 121.7g under the condition of feeding in the shed which was more than 121.7g under pasture condition that increased by 144.3%, and more than 30g under the condition of pasture+feeding that increased 17%. Average daily gains of F1 were 304g that was more than 193.5g under the condition of pasture+ feeding that was more than 193.5g under the condition of pasture+feeding; it is more than 75.7g under the condition of pasture+feeding that increased by 33.1%. It has the best economic effect under the condition of pasture+feeding that about 60.48 yuan on matou goats treatments, more than 20 yuan which increased by 49.4% with pasture treatments; More than 15.6 yuan which increased by 34.8% with which in Stall Feeding System.. About 85.6 more yuan in Boer×Matou F1 and more than 32.56 yuan which raise by 61.4% with pasture treatments; More than 17.68 yuan which increased by 26% with which in Stall Feeding System.
