Precision seeding relies on magnetic force is a new-type seeding principle adapting to the small particle seeds like vegetable,flower and other crops seeds,it has the advantages including lower requirement of seed size,not hurting seeds,good versatility and widely adaptability.In this paper,taking the magnetic drum precision seeder as research object,by using the methods of virtual prototype simulation analysis and material prototype test,the main research work were generalized as follows:the calculation formula of magnetic force which the coating seeds stressed in air gap gradient magnetic field was established by theory analysis and the main influence factors were investigated;the mechanical conditions for seeding were obtained by the analysis of mechanical modeling and the main factors which affected the seed's seeding motion were investigated;the virtual prototype design and development of the seeder was carried out by using the virtual prototyping technology based on Pro/E and ADAMS software,the virtual prototype of the seeder was established and the seeding motion was emulated,the motion trace of seeds and seeding component was obtained, the influence law of drum rotational speed,excitation current strength and adsorption seed angle on the seed's seeding motion was obtained and the variation law of the drum constrained force which seeds stressed was also obtained,providing a basis for the following test study;taking the coating rape seeds as test materials,the test study of seeding performance was carried out by using uniform experimental design,the influence of drum rotational speed,excitation current strength,seed case vibration and adsorption seed angle on the seeder performance was investigated,the formulas of single rate,cavity rate and over sowing rate were established by regression analysis,the primary and secondary factors which affect the seeder performance were investigated and the seed parameters were optimized,the test results show that the seeder single rate could reach 94%,which can satisfy the seeding precision requirements.The study results reveal the inherent laws of the seeder working process,providing a theoretical basis for the optimization of the seed parameters,laying a foundation for the practical application of magnetic drum precision seeder in the mechanization seeding of small particle seeds area.
