To ensure national food security, protection of the effective supply of major agricultural products has always been the primary task for the developing modern agriculture. Wheat is one of China's major crops, regardless of its planted area, annual production or inventory, ranking first in the world. Breeding, comparative tests of seed varieties and cultivating high quality seeds are the most effective methods to study the growth characteristics of wheat, improving its cultivation procedures and development of new species. However, effective and precise sowing of wheat in the experimental plot has become major problem. Research on experimental plot precision seeding of wheat was rarely reported. This study was aimed to develop a novel technical method about wheat seeding in experimental plot, select the precision seeding of wheat as the major task, conducting experiments both in the lab and in the field to verify the feasibility of the technical route according to the national standards GBT6973-2005 "single grain (precision drills) test methods". And the work in this paper has some significance for the study of precisely seeding wheat in experimental plot.Research and study as follows:?. Select "Sumai 188" as the Experiment samples to measure its triaxial size, grain weight, moisture content, friction coefficient and so on.?? Study a novel technical route about wheat sowing in experimental plot, and select the precision sowing of wheat as the major task according the technical route, design and manufacture the whole seeding device.?. Designed and built a platform for seeding device testing according to the national standards GBT6973-2005 "single grain (precision drills) test methods", conducted experiments in the lab. Obtained the QFI, MULI and MISI, when the prototype worked in four different theoretical seed spacing conditions and sown at two forward speeds,iv. An opener hitch has been designed and manufactured, as a result that it can accurately regulate opener ditching depth. And the experiments in the field plot has been conducted.
