Researching the security and efficiency problems of chain saw felling operation with the Ergonomics principle is also an important aspect in forestry technology area. This article firstly summarizes the research results of chain saw felling Ergonomics systematically from domestic and foreign countries. In the foundation of analysing massive literature materials, this article induces the reasonable operation sphere and actual force situation of various body joints. Then through comparatively analysing the results from the investigations in forestry region, this article summarizes six kinds of representative chain saw felling operation postures from more than twenty kinds of logging posture plans, and it applies the Analytic Hierarchy Process to evaluate six postures and obtains the most optimal posture plan.In order to analyse the effects that acting force exerts the chain saw felling operation posture, this article introduces the Finite Element Analysis technology. Through analysing the force which influences the chain saw felling operation posture it constructs three-dimensional poles mechanics model of chain saw felling operation posture and obtains various force situations of human body under the different cutting force conditions. This achievement provides the technical basis for reasonable felling operation force standard. At the same time this article applies computer simulation technology to construct the human body motion simulation model, it summarizes the change rule of various joints of human body under the different chain saw cutting action forces obtains the reasonable cutting force with the finite element human body mechanics model. It also proposes several opinions to avoid fatigue damage base on the posture characteristics. The article combines principle of Ergonomics with forestry engineering technology studies the chain saw felling operation posture characteristics with the human mechanics theory. It applies the technology methods of Analytic Hierarchy Process Finite Element Analysis and computer simulation to analyse the change rule of various joints of human body under different conditions proposes the reasonable cutting force. The research results have greater consulting value for improving the fatigue damage situations of operators increasing work efficiency protecting logging safety. provide very good research techniques for the later research work indicate the next research direction, and these all have very good model significance.
