Investigate and analysis the photosynthesis, wood property and growth of 20 provenances in three plots for 10 years old tree. The results can summary that:(1):Manchurian ash has high light saturation point(Mean value 1664.11μmol·m-2·s-1), apparent quantum yield(Mean value 0.0348) and low light compensate point(Mean value 24.85μmol·m-2·s-1).for its better light adaptive ability.Maximum net photosynthetic rate, light saturation point and apparent quantum yield have significant difference among provenances.(2):Special gravity,benzene-alcohol extractive holocellulose have significant difference among provenance.Special gravity have significant interaction between provenance and site, Youhao provenance et al.have better stability.Xifeng and Wangdianzi provenances should be use in cultivating in the Lushuihe forest bureau,Maoershan experimental farm and Darling experimental forest bureau and these surrounding region that have similar condition.Wuhang, Maoershan and Zhanhe provenances can only be use in Maoershan region for these higher special gravity and worsen stability.(3):Height and diameter in breast height of Manchurian ash have significant difference among provenance. The results show that different provenances have different genetic base,so we can select the superior provenance to increasing productivity through select breeding procedure.(4):Height of Manchurian ash have significant interaction between provenance and site. Wandianzi,Suiling,Dongfanghong, and Lushuihe provenances have better stability, however Huinan,Fangzheng and Maoershan are worse.(5)Huanan,Zhanhe and Wuchang provenance should promote to cultivate in Northeast of china for these higher growth, better stability and more adaptive ability.
