Study On The Selection Of Optimal Provenance And Provenance

To analyze its geographical variance, climate ecological base, and interaction with trial site, the stability of provenances, the character of seeds, growth and physiology of 20 provenances of Fraxinus mandshurica was tested. And the suitable provenance for specific trial site is found. Provenance block is defined.Among Fraxinus mandshurica provenances, there are prominent variance in the character of seeds, growth, root and photosynthesis. The height, width of tree and seed character is controlled by heritance. The interaction of provenance and site is prominent. The growth ability and stability is variable between provenances. The variance trend of the main character is both latitudinal and longitude. The climate ecological character is evident between provenances. The total provenances are organized into 4 provenance block.
