Clone and their open-pollination seeds of Pinus koraiensis in Hongwei seed orchard, Lushuihe forestry farm, Jilin Province were studied by microsatellite(SSR) markers. The genetic diversity of both the parentage and their progenies was compared and paternity analyses of its progenies were also conducted.Genomic DNA was extracted from leaves of Pinus koraiensis by the method of improved CTAB, moreover the optimal SSR-PCR reaction system for Korean pine is instituted in the study and purity genomic DNA which can meet the request of PCR reaction. 13 polymorphic SSR primers were selected from 78 primers. The total polymorphic alleles in all loci were 56 and 4.2 on average.Using the paternity analysis method analyze 100 progenies. The results indicated that all the reproductive success of male candidates is 53%. Within the 150 male candidates. There are 48 male candidates (32%) given the effective pollen to progenies. The biggest reproductive success is 10 and 96(3%). Others are 1%-2%. The aveange is 1.34%. Morever, 102(68% ) male candidates did not pollinate progenies, the reproductive success is 0. Pollen dispersal does not equality. In the 53 certain open-pollination progeny, the average effective pollen dispersal distance of Pinus koraiensis ranged from 15m to 30m and 30m to 45m, account for 36% and 30%, with the average distance is 32.6m, the maximum dispersal distance of 67.88m..Parentage population showed a high genetic diversity. PIC of parentage population was calculated to be 0.5333, which was similar to that of massonion pine and other natural species. Ho and He were 0.6481 and 0.6005 on average respectively. Fit was -0.0517 on average. It is showing that the progeny population was closer to the Hardy- Weinberg equilibrium. It was presumably relevant to the randomly mating among the clones.Analysying the mating system of seed orchard, the outcrossing rates of seed orchard was very high, the multilocus outcrossing rate was 0.823(SD=0.000) and single outcrossing rate was 0.785(SD=0. 000). The index of tm-ts is -0.062, and index of Fit is 0.375. Outcrossing rate is very high, the index of tm-ts is low, and inbreeding is not very significant in the seed orchard.
