Experimental And Study On Gasoline-Biogas Dual-Fuel Engine

It needs to spend a lot of oil resources with the development of modern economy and society, but we know that oil is non-renewable energy. As a renewable biomass energy, biogas has been used more widely with the advantages of raw materials,clean burning etc.This paper has tested the engine performance with the petrol and biogas both on the same engine. It includes speed performance test and load performance test. The paper comparatived and analysised the power and economical performance of the engine fueled with gasoline and biogas, and the speed,load,ignition timing combination of three factors in the return test engine fueled with biogas.The test result shows: It is feasible to use biogas as fuel in the engine application, and it is also successfully to use biogas or gasoline as fuel on the dual-fuel engine. The test provide a technical guidance for application of gasoline- biogas dual-fuel engine in agricultural products.
