Study On Breeding Improved Variety And Evaluating Topiary Of The Ornamental Yew (Taxus Chinensis Var. Mairei)

In this study, we screened the ornamental varieties of yew, did the topiary work to it and mastered how to cultivate it through the test of cultivation. According to point of experts, the system of evaluating the ornamental excellent varieties was established with Model of AHP-fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation. In the form of questionnaire, we got the effect of the topiaries.The main rusults are followings:1. The yews were plant in Fuzhou National Forest Park, in the shade of the trees which could shelter the yews. An array of techniques were took to keep the trees charming. Cuttage was used to breeding the improved ones. The rooting percentage was 91.2 % of the totle cutting slips.2. Model of AHP-fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation is used to establish the system of evaluating the ornamental excellent varieties, with judgement matrix and uniform examination done, according to the characters of yew and points of the experts. The factors and the weight were determined in the model, branches and leaves density ,crown geometry ,leaves color weight 0.1567 , 0.1069 , 0.1567 0.1933,respectively. With the help of the system, No.8, 15, 25were selected , ranking one .3.Choosing different groups to evaluate the photos of plant communities with the method of BIB-LCJ would get the value of the aesthetic qua1ity.Analyzing the difference on the value of scenery aesthetic quality of Plant community landscape among different topiaries,theva1uesweresignificantdiferenceamongseasons,so the same community had different landscape effect. The preferences correlate closely among groups. Excellent topiary requests unity, reconciliation, balance and rhythm reflected by the whole assessment of topiary in the public aesthetic estimation, which is the reference for topiary yew.
