Phyllostachys pubescens is one kind of bamboos, which with the widest distribution and largest covering area, gather with good economic, ecologic, and social benefits on it. In this paper, taking bamboo in different fertilizer application modes as the research object, leaf nutrient elements, photosynthetic rate, photosynthetic pigment, photosynthate, soluble protein and related enzyme activities were dynamic monitored base on its growth rhythm, and leaf spectral properties were studied, so as to provide theoretical basis and technical support for nutrition management and scientific fertilization of Ph. pubescens forest. The main results are as follows:1. Leaf nutrient elements in Ph. pubescens are mainly accumulated at the stage of leaf expansion. The average nutrient content of one-year leaf are: N: 23.65 g·kg-1;K: 11.51 g·kg-1;Ca: 1.86 g·kg-1;S :1.38 g·kg-1;P: 1.26 g·kg-1;Mg: 1.01 g·kg-1;Mn: 0.322 g·kg-1;Fe: 0.092 g·kg-1;Zn: 0.014 g·kg-1;Cu: 0.010 g·kg-1;B: 0.003 g·kg-1.2. Fertilization has little effect on the changing rhythm of one-year leaf nutrient concentration and accumulation rate. The concentration of N,P,Ca,S,Fe,Zn,Cu,B were: Fertilization in May> Fertilization in August> Non-fertilization. The concentration of K was: Fertilization in May < Fertilization in August < Non-fertilization. Mg and Mn were stable on fertilization effect. Fertilization increased the leaf nutrients accumulation, the order was Fertilization in May > Fertilization in August > Non-fertilization.3. Fertilization improved the content of chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, carotenoids, soluble protein content, photosynthetic rate and catalase activity, fertilization in May was mostly accelerated, then fertilization in August, non-fertilization was the lowest, but fertilization reduced the ratio of chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b, soluble sugar, reducing sugar and starch contents. Leaf photosynthetic pigment content, photosynthetic rate, enzyme activity maintain the highest level of fertilization in May, which is more conducive to increase the formation of photosynthetic products in certain period of time, leaves of soluble protein and photosynthetic pigment content continues to grow after fertilization in August, which extended the period of photosynthetic functions of leaves and delayed its senescence process.4. Established the estimation models of chlorophyll content of Ph. pubescens leaf based on reflectance spectra.5. Fertilization in May is more conducive to the improvement of yield of Ph. pubescens than that in August (the traditional fertilization).
