The effective ways of restoring fertility of Hybrid F1 between Leymus chinensis and Leymus cinereus were studied in this thesis, in ways of a) F1 hybrides backcross; b) chromosome doubling on tiller bud and rhizome bud by colchicines and trifluralin; c) chromosome doubleing on callus by chochicines and trifluralin. The main results are as follows:(1) Fertility of hybrid F1 could not be resotrated by backcross;(2) After chemically immersion induced by 0.12% colchicine with 24h, 36h, 12 +12 h, 12 +24 h; 0.16% colchicine with 12h, 24h, 36h, 12 +12 h, 12 +24 h; 0.20% colchicine with 12h, 24h, 36h; expanding on tiller buds and root buds were found after around 10 days. For those treated by trifluralin, no expanding were found on tiller buds and root buds.(3) Result indicated that embedding by 0.20% Colchicine three times was the best choice for F1 hybrid chemically chromosome doubling. After embedded by trifle- ralin on 200μM with 4 times, the variated rate was 2 % and the first leaf was restrained. .(4) Under the same treatment time, the callus green shoot rate declined as the concentration of chemical reagent increased. Under the same concentration of colchicines, the callus green shoot rate declined as the treatment time increased.(5) The best-suit condition of chromosome doubling of Hybrid F1 is: 0.01% colchicine treatment for 27 h, 0.05% colchicines treatment for 18 h, trifluralin 200μM treatment for 28 h, trifluralin 500μM treatment for 28 h.
