Pyrus ussuriensis Max,Prunus salicina Lindl.and Armeniaca vulgaris Lain.was used as materials in this experiment.The reaction of the physiological and biochemical and growth were studied under the stress of sulfur dioxide by two year's seedlings in pots in greenhouse.The enrichment and tolerance of sulfur dioxide were analyzed in the three species and resistance of the three species was evaluated.Every species was designed under different concentration gradient,different concentration of sulfur dioxide:2.0,4.0,6.0,8.0, mg/m-3,treat time is 6 hours;different concentration of time:6h,8h,10h,12h;concentration treatment is 4.0 mg.m-3(showed CK).The results were as follows:1.Under stress of sulfur dioxide,The ability of Enrichment and Tolerance to sulfur dioxide is different among three seedlings,the order of appearance of injury symptoms in three trees was different.The consequence of enrichment ability to sulfur dioxide of each tree species was Prunus salicina Lindl.>Pyrus ussuriensis Max.>Armeniaca vulgaris Lam.Under stress of sulfur dioxide in 4.0 mg/m-3 with different time,the resistance of three tree species to different adoption was Prunus salicina Lindl>Pyrus ussuriensis Max.>Armeniaca vulgaris Lam.2.Under stress of sulfur dioxide,as the increasing of sulfur dioxide concentration and time treatment,pH value of leaf cell juice of three plants declined,but the variety was significantly less than other indexes.The range of Prunus salicina Lindl.was least,Armeniaca vulgaris Lam was the most,Pyrus ussuriensis Max is the second,peroxidation of membrance Lipid were affected of three plants,relative conductivity and malondialdehyde(MDA) content were increased.With the increase of fumigation time,the variety range of relative conductivity and malondialdehyde(MDA) content of Armeniaca vulgaris Lam.was highest,that was enhanced 244.99%and 242.9%than that of CK,that of Prunus salicina Lindl.was in second place, Pyrus ussuriensis Max.was least.3.It is different that evaluation of the resistance of the different sulfur dioxide concentration and time treatment.The resistance of three tree species to sulfur dioxide was appraised using subordinate function.The results showed that the resistance of three tree species to different sulfur dioxide concentration was Pyrus ussuriensis Max.>Prunus salicina Lindl>Armeniaca vulgaris Lam;the resistance of three tree species to different time concentration was Prunus salicina Lindl>Pyrus ussuriensis>Armeniaca vulgaris Lam.Pyrus ussuriensis Max is higher ability of resistance and enrichment than others.So we consider that Pyrus ussuriensis Max was used as ornamental trees in downtown.4.The reaction of the physiological and biochemical is different with enhancing of the concentration of the sulfur dioxide,chlorophyll content in leaves of three tree species declined,It was achieved significant level in contrast with the highest concentration treatment and CK.Armeniaca vulgaris Lam was the most distinct, Prunus salicina Lindl.was at second place,Pyrus ussuriensis Max was the least.Relative conductivity rate of three tree species leaves enhanced with increase of sulfur dioxide and the difference among tree species was significant.The content of MDA of three tree species seedlings first enhanced then decreased with the enhancing of the concentration of sulfur dioxide,the content of critical of each tree species was Pyrus ussuriensis Max>Prunus salicina Lindl.>Armeniaca vulgaris Lam.;the activity of POD of the seedlings first enhanced then decreased with the enhancing of the concentration of sulfur dioxide;The content of critical of each tree species was Armeniaca vulgaris Lam.>Prunus salicina Lindl.>Pyrus ussuriensis Max;The content of Pro enhanced with enhancing of the concentration of sulfur dioxide,Variation of soluble carbohydrate content under sulfur dioxide treatment in leaves of three seedlings enhanced with the enhancing of the concentration of sulfur dioxide:The content of protein increase with enhanced of sulfur dioxide.5.Comprehensive evaluation of the resistance of three ornamental trees to sulfur dioxide was made by using the subordination function method of vague mathematics to analyze ten indexes.The sulfur dioxide resistance of the three tree species from strong to weak is as the followings:Pyrus ussuriensis Max>Prunus salicina Lindl.>Armeniaca vulgaris Lam.
