Rumex gmelini Turcz.belongs to the family of Polygonaceae. Its root and rhizome have been used for antifungal, antitumor, antitussive and expectrant, antiasthma, antivirus and antioxidation. The results as follows. To analysis chemical components of endophytic fungus isolated from Rumex gmelini Turcz. We study the chemical correlation of endophytic fungus from different tissues, the chemical correlation of all isolated endophytic fungus, calculated the chemical similarity of dominant microflora. The result to TLC showed that chemical correlation of endophytic fungus isolated from root and leaf is higher than stem. The result to HPLC showed that chemical correlation of the endophytic fungus and Rumex gmelini Turcz.,the endophytic fungus and the tissues, the same species of endophytic fungus. And the analysis of the similarity showed that the high chemical similarity of Aspergillus,Alternaria,Rhizoctonia are isolated from the same tissues. We selected eight strains which have the same or the similar chemical constituents with their host by the detected of TLC and HPLC.The No.3 strain and No.7 strain contains rhein. The No.18 strain contains chrysophanol. The No.12 strain contains rhein and emodin. The No.4 strain, the No.11 strain, the No.52 strain and the No.32 strain contain musizin glycoside. The molecular identification showed that the No.3 strain is Emericella nidulans, the No.7 strain is Aspergillus variecolor, the No.4 strain is Fusarium, the No.12 strain is Colletotrichum destructivum or ColIetotrichum higginsianum, the No.32 strain is Alternaria brassicae, the No.18 strain is Emericella falconensis, the No.11 strain is Alternaria alternata, the No.52 strain is Alternaria. The experiment analysis the chemical correlation of endophytic fungus between Rumex gmelini Turcz.,and selected eight strains which have the same or the similar chemical constituents with their host. These studies can lay a foundation for the exploitation and application of the endophytic fungus isolated from Rumex gmelini Turcz. And and it provides a new way in the field of developing natural medicine.
