| In recent years, a chicken disease appears in a lager group, which symptoms are the decline in laying rate, sag abdominal appearing fluctuations in the sense of touch, the penguin-like walk. The change in autopsy is mainly salpingitis, different degrees oviduct cyst and egg yolk peritonitis. A lot of hennery at home and abroad has been troubled by salpingitis because of its unexplained cause. Salpingitis often leads to drop in laying production, especially high-yielding hens raised this year. In the past people always considered that a lot of factors caused this disease, including too much animal feed; the lack of vitamin A, vitamin D and vitamin E in feed; the producing excessive double-yellow eggs; egg rupturing in oviduct; Chlamydia trachomatis infections or E. coli disease, infectious bronchitis and so on. The study of Bisgaard and Bojesen shows that pasteurella anatipestifer in duck is closely related to salpingitis in hens. Pasteurella. Addo considers that the bacteria mainly impacts laying hens and that can cause salpingitis, ovarian inflammation, peritonitis, sepsis, pericarditis, hepatitis, enteritis, respiratory and other diseases. The study suggests that gallibacterium anantis may be cause of chicken oviduct cyst, because 15-week-old laying hens can cause 73% mortality rate by intravenous inoculated the pathogenicity gallibacterium anantis. At present, research on this disease is still rare. Therefore, the author surveys its clinical epidemiology in 50 different flocks from 17 city of Henan Province, such as Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Pingdingshan, Xuchang, Xinyang, Zhumadian, Zhoukou, Luohe, Shangqiu, Anyang, Xinxiang, Jiaozuo. The results showed that gallibacterium anantis is infection was common in all flocks studied, especially in Luohe and Zhoukou City, the incidence up to 10%. This disease occurs in a lot of laying hens throughout the year. Chicken Oviduct Cyst is occurred mostly during the peak of lay, occurring sprinkling during onset of laying egg and late period of lay. The rate of egg drop mostly is during 10%-20%, mortality being lower. At the same time, the authors selected various samples of sick chicken, making pathological anatomy, collecting pathological samples for bacterial isolation, bacterial culture, staining microscopy, biochemical identification, serological tests and drug sensitivity test. The results showed that gallibacterium anantis, E. coli and Salmonella were isolated from samples in all pathogenesis chicken farms, Infectious bronchitis virus isolated from individual farms. Isolates that was gallibacterium anantis identified by automatic bacterial identification system, mostly occurred agglutination with positive serum of gallibacterium anantis1, 2 and 4 types, rather than with positive serum of E. coli and Salmonella. The result of antibody detection for 400 serum samples from 50 chicken farms with agglutination test shows that the antibody of gallibacterium anantis is positive in all 50 chicken farms, their rate positive being up to 90.9%, the lower being 15.2%, the average being 48.4%. In addition, there are 5 farms where samples appear positive to 3 serotypes bacteria in 12 farms. The majority of isolates is very sensitive to cephalosporins drugs, ampicillin, florfenicol, amoxicillin, being moderately sensitive to amikacin and ciprofloxacin, while being not sensitive to streptomycin, lincomycin etc. the diameter of inhibition zone of different drugs are separately as follows: cefoperazone 27.488, ceftriaxone 26.150, penicillin 25.475, florfenicol 24.550, amoxicillin 22.825, amikacin 17.300, ciprofloxacin 12.713, norfloxacin 9.838, levofloxacin 9.426, gentamycin 6.775, ofloxacin 6.150, neomycin 3. 038, while streptomycin, lincomycin, erythromycin had no inhibition zone.According to literature reports, gallibacterium anantis has played an important role in the incidence of oviduct cyst. Through the analysis oviduct cyst cases in more than 50 chicken farms, combined with laboratory test results, author consider gallibacterium anantis is probably one of the important reasons above the incidence of oviduct cyst farms, and making general prevent measures: (1) adhere to self- propagation and autotrophism. Introduction should strictly be prohibited from epidemic area. If introduction is must be, we should strict quarantine, isolated for observation. (2) In accordance with the "Law on Animal Epidemic Prevention" seriously implement the precautionary measures: doing rodent control, mosquito, flies work; to strengthen the sanitation and disinfection: periodic alternating compound formaldehyde, chlorine dioxide, peracetic acid, 10% bleaching powder solution, 3% formalin and other drugs on the sheds, transport, equipment and surrounding environment for disinfection. At first their empty homes completely washed, then with 2%~3% of caustic soda solution to disinfect thoroughly, and being disinfected with caustic soda after 5-7d. It is necessary that strictly harmless treatment to the cadaver of disease hens, feces and contaminated feed. (3) To enhance feeding and management, to improve antiviral ability: To ensure the complete feed supplying and reduce the probability of infection oviduct cyst, it is necessary to add 0.05% oxytetracycline calcium in diet, 0.1% bleaching powder in water, to reasonably adjust density, to ventilate, to prevent moisture and stress, to keep warm in abrupt change of weather, to promptly give preventive antibiotics. Chickens of different ages keeping separate as possible, it is better to take all-in all of the rearing methods. (4) Daily management to achieve the "three-watch", to detect, isolate and eliminate diseased chickens timely. (5) Periodically to add the preventing volume of antimicrobial agents, such as: ampicillin, florfenicol, amoxicillin, etc. (6) To add doxycycline, amikacin, ciprofloxacin, cephalosporins, ampicillin, florfenicol, amoxicillin in water or feed in early stage of infection, and to sustain l ~ 2 days after symptoms disappearance, so as to avoid recurrence. The above-mentioned measures have been used widely in more than 20 chicken farms where chicken oviduct cyst has been happened. The used results show that the number of chicken oviduct cyst occurrence again significantly reduced after comprehensive measures to prevention and control. The disease incidence declined by 81.8%. Therefore, it is effective to use comprehensive measures to prevention and control for the chicken oviduct cysts. |
