In this paper, three scale pig farms of Xihua, Dancheng, Huaiyang, Xiangcheng of Zhoukou city were taken as our material to research. 10 pigs of different ages(45d, 55d, 65d, 75d, 85d, 100d, 120d, 140d, 150d, 170d) of each pig farm, a total of 400 pigs without vaccination of PRRS vaccine were elected bled for serological detection of PRRS. The result shows that: (1)The antibody level of Xihua pig farm gradually decreased from 45 to 65 days after born, and slowly increased from 65 to 85 days, and then decreased from 85 to 100 days, then increased from 100 to 170 days. Two low points of antibody level were found in 65 and 100 days with a higher dispersion.(2)The antibody level of Dancheng pig farm exsisted a low point in 55 days after born with a higher dispersion.(3)Huaiyang pig farm had a low point of antibody level from 55 to 65 days after born with the highest dispersion.(4)Xiangcheng pig farm emerged a low point of antibody level from 65 to 85 days after born with a higher dispersion. The result of serological detection indicates that a time period of low antibody level exsits from 55 to 75 days in comercial pigs, which is liable to infect PRRS. Just because of these, two times of injection of comercial pigs in 10 and 30 days with PRRS autogenous vaccine were recommended. And it is better to do drug prevetion in 3, 21, 50-65, 90-100 days of pigs. With respect to the diseased pigs, it is better to cure with high level antiserum, the efficiency is very good, in additon to take strict biosecurities, strengthen feed and attention, apply immunopotentiators, detect antibody or pathogens and so on. Once the serological antibody level was found high and regular, it shows that the pig herd has immnoprotection to prevent from infection of PRRSV. And the results indicates that the average offtake rate increase by 11.05%, average mortality rate decreased by 2.35%, average daily weight gain enhanced by 10.7%, and economic benefit increased by more than 26%. These measures carried out in pig farms can efficiently prevent pig herd from attack of PRRSV, which lays the foundation for prevention and control of PRRS.
