To keep abreast of FMD antibodies in bovine in Xinjiang, serological of FMDAntibodies from14grounds (states) in the South and North Xinjiang were investigated byantibody against nonstructural protein of FMDV detection kit (FMD3ABC-I-ELISA).4700serum samples of14grounds (states) were tested. The results showed that serum samples of13states were positive and the positive rate was92.86%,381antibody positive bovines wereaccounted for the total sample number8.11%. Among C, B and N states, the antibody positiverates were higher and30.99%,29.25%,24.06%, respectively. The data showed that thesebovines of FMD natural or recessive infection maybe existed, reflecting the fact that theoccurrence and pandemic outbreaks of FMD has appearecd annually after the1999pandemic.At the same time, using FMD3ABC-I-ELISA to detect recovered cattle with foot and mouthdisease or cattle of recessive infection has been effective, so as to provide a scientific basis forcattle depuration; serological investigation can be said to become one of the effectivemeasures to comprehensive prevention of foot and mouth disease of cattle.Furthermore, the immune effect of trivalence inactivated vaccine (type A, O and AsiaI)was inspected and evaluated by LP-ELISA. Serum samples of4inoculated dairy farms inAksu, Yili, Changji and Qitai were detected by LP-ELISA. Detection results showed thatantibody was rised rapidly and significantly immuned by trivalence inactivated vaccine (typeA, O and Asia I) after90days.90days post immunization100%cattles of the antibody of typeA were got the100%immune protection rate (antibody level≥1:128),and more than80%cattles of the antibody of type O and type Asia I was≥1:128,and the antibody titer got1:64orhigher at180days post immunization, and the antibody levels is higher during Six monthsafter inoculation. Data showed that the trivalence inactivated vaccine (type A, O and Asia I)was effective and immunization program was feasible.
