As the protection and improvement of ecological environment are getting more emphasized, the building of the eco- highway becomes the main objective under the premier highway construction and the ecological protection on side-slope for those constructive eco-highway turns to be the top priority. Sichuan province has always been focused on the premier highway's construction and upgrading which is going to be the express travel tunnel eventually. Chuanjiu highway was built in 2003 and it is one of the national designated demonstrating and leading environmental eco-highways. The soon to be re-constructed_ Yingri highway will be designed and built in the same way.To not only ensure the expectation of the Yingri highway is completely fulfilled, but also for the future development of the eco-highways to benefit from the scientific proven theories. In this paper, by applying the successful example in ChuanJiu highway slope vegetation restoration, based on the reconstruction project of YingRi highway and using the methods of field test,field investigation in the slope vegetation restoration techniques and allocation of plant to study. Its main conclusions are as follow:(1)24 kinds of plants for trial have a certain degree of protection effectiveness in the plant selection on slope of Yingri road,. But after the level of AHP analysis, the application on the slope of Yingri road final selected the plants scored more than 4, based on plants properties,there are Coriaria sinica Maxim, Hippophae rhamnoides L.subsp.sinensis Rousi, Caragana sinica, Platycarya strobilacea Sieb. et Zucc., Amorpha fruticosa L. Robinia pseudoacacia L. for shrub; Fargesia spathacea Franch. for bamboo; Cynodon dactylon L. ,Fesruca arundinacea, LoliumperenneL., Elymus dahuricus Turcz., Medicago sativa L. for grass; Caulis Mucunae and Parthenocissus tricuspidata (S. Et Z. ) Planch. for liana.(2)Under the circumstance of 1:1 ratio on roadbed soil slopes, using transplanted turf slope protection technique and spraying linked network, it has shown a positive results in germination rate of grass, growth of the lawn and improved soil. Hereby, it suggest that the technology of Transplanted turf can be wildly applied in Yingri highway construction. (3) Selected species have five kinds of slope protection of its own characteristics, advantages and disadvantages, in regard to the growth of adaptability, the order of their advantages and disadvantages is Medicago sativa L. > Festuca arundinacea) Elymus dahuricus Turcz. > Cynodon dactylon L. > LoliumperenneL.(4) There are eleven types of the revetment grass in the area of Sichuan basin: Trifolium repens Linn.,Festuca arundinacea,Cynodon dactylon L.,Paspalum natatum,Digitaria sanguinalis (L. )Scop.,LoliumperenneL.,Dichondra repens,Medicago sativa L.,Eragrostis curvula,Dactylis glomerata L.,Zoysia japonica Steud..(5)There is an important significance in the protection of wild plants on eco-highway, these are the certain types of wild revetment grass in Sichuan basin: Eremochloa ophiuroides,Caulis Fici Tikouae,Pueraria lobata (Willdenow) Ohwi,Carex rigescens and so on.This research solved some practical problems of slope protection in Yingri highway construction,and provided a scientific basis for ecological slope protection. So it has a certain theoretical and practical value.
