Polysaccharide is a class of natural macromolecular compounds exists in plants, animals and microbes for the life of the composition of substances. Substantial pharmacological and clinical study confirmed that polysaccharides have anti-cancer, anti-virus, hypoglycemic action, reduce blood fat and immunoregulation function. Polysaccharides are one important class of biologically active substances which can be used as a variety of drugs and health products effective components, there is enormous potential of the prevention and treatment of many diseases including cancer.Prinsepia utilis Royle, is an evergreen shrub of the family Rosaceae Prinsepia Royle, naturally grows in Yunnan, Sichuan, Guizhou and other provinces of the cold mountain. Prinsepia utilis Royle contains many active substances, the research of it is still relatively small, especially with regard to the Prinsepia utilis Royle polysaccharides literature has not been reported. The purpose of this study from the full use of resources and the further development of the Prinsepia utilis Royle point of view, the Prinsepia utilis Royle polysaccharide extraction techniques, determination of Polysaccharides content, immunomodulation effect in chicken and preliminary study of its mechanism of immune regulation was studied. The main findings are as follows:1,Using orthogonal experimental research to study on the extraction technology and content of polysaccharide of the Prinsepia Utilis Royle. The optimization extracting technique conditions are 100℃, withdraws the time for 8 hours, expects the fluid ratio is 1:20; the concentration of ethanol is 85%, According to the above-mentioned conditions, the content of PRP was 40.64%.2,To study the impact of Prinsepia utilis Royle polysaccharide to chicken serum antibody (Immunoglobulin G, Immunoglobulin M and Immunoglobulin A) and blood biochemical parameters (alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, albumin and calcium). The results showed that Prinsepia utilis Royle polysaccharide group, IgM showed significant increase (p≤0.01) in the 21 days old when compared to the control group; in the 28 days old, IgG and IgM showed significant increase (0.01
