In this reseach, high-pressured fast ammoniafiation system was used to make rice straw ammoniated.The effect of different mixed proportion of rice straw ammoniated and leymus chinensis on feed intake,average daily weight gain,were studied First,16male Iambs(8 Suffolk×semi-fine wool sheep) which were ablactated at 4 month age were used to fatten. They were divided into 4 groups randomly(breed is the same, and age,weight have not significant difference among the groups), 4 lambs in each group, leymus chinensis group,I group (the ratio of leymus chinensis to rice straw ammoniation standed at 75:25),II group (the ratio of leymus chinensis to rice straw ammoniation standed at 50:50) and IIIgroup (the ratio of leymus chinensis to rice straw ammoniation standed at 25:75) were feed respectively. Next, 4 male Dorset×semi-fine wool sheep with permanent rumen fistula were selected. Latin square experiment design was used to study the effect of rice straw ammoniated and leymus chinensis different proportion mix on rumen fermentation and degradation rate of DM,NDF and CP.The result showed that the feed intake of the leymus chinensis groups was the highest,,the difference was not significant between the leymus chinensis groups and I group(P>0.05).but they were significant more than II group and Hgroups (P<0.05) .and the difference was not significant between II groups and III group. the feed intake of III group was the lowest.The leymus chinensis group got the most average daily weight gain, and was significant more than II group and IIIgroup (P<0.05),and the same to I group. the deffience was not sighificant between The leymus chinensis group and I group (P>0.05). and the deffience was also not sighificant between IIgroup and IIIgroup (P>0.05). After counting the cost and meat output, it showed that the leymus chinensis group got the most economic benefit, and I group followed it. thus infer when the proportion of rice straw ammoniation alternative leymus chinensis less than twenty-five,can got maximize economic benefit.The change of pH of each group was similar, began to fall after feeding, rised a little at 6h after feeding. but the change of NH3-N and VFA of each group rised first then fell after feeding. among the groups were no significant differences (P> 0.05).The change of the degradation of DM,NDF and CP was regularly,and the performance with the rice straw ammoniated added greater showed upward trend. III group was the highest on the degradation of DM,NDF and CP in rumen.it showed that rice straw ammoniation made by fast ammoniafiation system increased the digestibility of rice straw in rumen.
