With the development of intensive aquiculture, the incidence of livestock and poultry's intestinal disease become more and more. The mian method of preventing and treating diseases is application of antibiotics and chemical antimicrobials, but improper use cause the problem of environmental sanitation and food safety. Chinese herbal medicine belongs to natural medicine and has many advantages.: no pollution, little toxicity, and the lower residual levels of toxic substance. One of the effective way to solve the problem of antibiotics abuse is screen of antibiotics from Chinese herbal medicines. This experiment using the plate diluting and the ameliorative two fold dilution methods to measure the bacterial inhibition diameter and minimum inhibitory concentration of 8 livestock and poultry pathogenic enteral bacteria based on 12 kinds of chinese herbal medicine water extract which are been screened from 56 kinds of chinese herbal medicines. Observed the bacteriostatic efficacy of 15 kinds of chinese herbal medicine composite on 8 livestock and poultry pathogenic enteral bacteria and Chinese herbal medicine compatibility relations, the results showed that:â‘ 12 kinds of Chinese herbal medicines have both different antibacterial spectrum and various bacteriostatic effect to 8 tested microorganism, the size of bacteriostatic circle has certain parallel relationships with minimum inhibitory concentration. Among these bacteriostatic tests, G.Chinensis and F.chebulae had obvious bacteriostatic effect of E.coli O2 ( MIC 62.5mg/mL), G.Chinensis had clear bacteriostatic action against E.coli O139 ( MIC 62.5mg/mL), R.Scutellariae and G.Chinensis had obvious bacteriostatic action against E.coli O8 (MIC 31.25mg/mL), R.Scutellariae, P.Granati, G.Chinensis, R.Coptidis and F.Artemisiae Argyi had obvious bacteriostatic action for E.coli O78 (MIC 31.25mg/mL), R.Scutellariae, P.Granatiand, R.Coptidis on S.pullorum were strongest relatively ( MIC 7.8mg/mL);R.Scutellariae had best bacteriostatic effect on S.typhimurium(MIC 15.6mg/mL), Punica granatum L .and G.Chinensis on S.typhisuis has significant bacteriostatic effect ( MIC 31.25mg/mL ) , R.Scutellariae and G.Chinensis had obvious bacteriostatic action against S. choleraesuis ( MIC 31.25mg/mL).â‘¡15 selected Chinese herbal medical compounds have different bacteriostatic efficacy to different pathogenic enteral bacteria, synergism or antagonism. The compatibilities of G.Chinensis and F.Mume,G.Chinensis and R.Et Rhizoma Rhei,G.Chinensis and C. Phellodendri Chinensis,F.chebulae and F.Mume,F.chebulae and R.Et Rhizoma Rhei,F.chebulae and C.Phellodendri Chinensis on E.coliO2 had significant bacteriostatic effec(tMIC 62.50mg/mL).The compatibilities of G.Chinensis and F.Mume,G.Chinensis and R.Et Rhizoma Rhei,G.Chinensis and C.Phellodendri Chinensis had clear bacteriostatic action against E.coli O139 ( MIC 62.5mg/mL).The compatibilities of F.chebulae and F.Mume,F.chebulae and C.Phellodendri Chinensis had obvious synergistic interaction of E.coli O139,the MIC of them were 62.5mg/mL. G.Chinensis and F.Mume,F.chebulae and F.Mume had significant synergistic interaction against E.coli O8 and the MIC of them were up to 15 .6 mg/ ml.The compatibilities of G.Chinensis and R.Et Rhizoma Rhei,F.chebulae and F.Mume,R.Scutellariae and R.Et Rhizoma Rhei on E.coliO78 has significant bacteriostatic effect ( MIC 31.25mg/mL),among these compatibilities, F.chebulae and F.Mume had obvious synergistic interaction . The MIC of compatibilities of G.Chinensis and R.Coptidis,R.Scutellariae and R.Et Rhizoma Rheihad were up to 3.9 mg/ ml ,displayed significant synergistic interaction for S.pullorum.The MIC of compatibilities of G.Chinensis and F.Mume,F.chebulae and F.Mume had significant bacteriostatic effect on S.typhimurium were 31.25mg/mL and that of compatibilities of F.chebulae and F.Mume,F.chebulae and R.Et Rhizoma Rhei,F.chebulae and C.Phellodendri Chinensis had significant synergistic interaction. The compatibilities of G.Chinensis and F.Mume,G.Chinensis and F.Artemisiae Argyi on S.typhisuis has significant bacteriostatic effect (MIC 31.25mg/mL),that of compatibility of F.chebulae and R.Coptidis,F.chebulae and R.Et Rhizoma Rhei,F.chebulae and F.Artemisiae Argyi had obvious synergistic interaction. The compatibilities of R.Scutellariae and R.Et Rhizoma Rhei,R.Scutellariae and F.Artemisiae Argyi had best bacteriostatic effect against S.choleraesuis(MIC 15.60 mg/mL),also showed significant synergistic interaction. The experimental results to supply reference data for Clinical Use,Compatibility of Chinese herbal medicine or used as feed additive.
