This experiment was conducted to study the effects of acidifiers in drinking water on the reproduction performance,some serum bio-chemical parameters,immune function of XUESHAN Breeding Broilers and to explore their mechanism and effects,And sift suitable adding types and levels.4176 30-week-old XUESHAN Breeding Broilers were randomly divided six treatments and three replicates,and each replicate had 232 Broliers.Basal diets of six treatments were same.Control group was offered 0% acidifier in drinking water,test group I,II,III were respectively added acidifier A1 at the addiction level of 0.1%,0.2%and 0.3%;Test group IV was added 0.2% acidifier of A2,test group V was administered through the drinking water with 0.2% A3.The results of the reproduction performance showed:acidifiers administered through the drinking water could increase the survival rate and egg production rate,reduce the rate of death and elimination and soft-broken shell egg ratio,but could not influence on fertilization rate.0.3% A1 and 0.2% A3 was better to egg production rate;0.2% A2 was better to soft-broken eggshell ratio.The rate of death and elimination decreased 0.8%~1.8%.The results of the eggs qulity indicated :acidifier in drinking water could increase the egg weight,eggshell thick and the relative eggshell weight. Generally speaking,0.3% A1 and 0.2%A2 were better to other groups on the qulity of eggs.At the pre-test,the egg weight (P<0.01) were remarkable increased for XUESHAN Breeding Broilers offered 0.2% A1,0.3% A1 and 0.2% A2,the eggshell thick (P<0.05) were remarkable increased for XUESHAN Breeding Broilers fed 0.2%A1,the relative eggshell weight were remarkable increased fed 0.3% A1;At the post-test,the egg weight (P<0.01) were remarkable increased offered 0.2% A2,the eggshell thick (P<0.05) were remarkable increased for adding 0.2%A3,the relative eggshell weight were remarkable increased for XUESHAN Breeding Broilers fed 0.3%A1(P<0.01) and 0.2% A1(P<0.05) in drinking water.The results of serum bio-chemical parameters showed:The serum ALP activity,concentration of TP,ALB,GLBwere remarkable increased for administered acidifiers through the drinking water,while the serum PH,the concentration of BUN,UA were significantly lower and the serum pH was gradually lower with the increase of acidifiers.The concentration of serum Ca was increased,where as the GLU and serum P were not significantly affected.Judging from the total effects of acidifiers on the serum bio-chemical, 0.3%A1and 0.2%A3 was superior control group and other test group,The best group was 0.3%A1.The determination results of the antibody titer and the lysozyme antivity showed :acidifiers in drinking water could improve the antibody titer of ND.At the same time,It could improve the acitivity of serum lysozyme,but H5 and H9 antibody titer was not signifcantly affected.
