| Meteorological factors has a great influence on forest fire, such as temperature, precipitation, wind, relative humidity and so on. This article is focused on the relationship between forest fire and five meteorological factors. We analyzed the precipitation, temperature, humidity, wind speed, maximum temperature, and minimum temperature of the period of 1981-2000 in Yunnan Province to find out the main trend of the 20-year climate change in Yunnan Province. We got the following conclusions:(1) There is a significant correlation between forest fire and wind speed, annual temperature range, average temperature. In this article, annual temperature range is that the maximum temperature on the impact of forest fires.(2) The regression analysis about the relationship between burnt area and meteorological factors shows that the influence of the wind speed and maximum temperature is the greatest. Wind speed is the determinant factor of the spread speed, intensity, area, and extinction difficulty of forest fire. Strong wind can strengthen the air turbulence, which may cause the fire whirl or spot fire. The rising fire can turn the surface fire into crown fire, which increases the difficulty of fire fighting. So wind has a great impact on the forest fire. The influence of maximum temperature to burnt rear is mainly in the forest fire occurrence and development. The higher the temperature is, the larger the burnt area is. |
