Warming as the main feature of climate change has an important impact on the occurrence of global forest fire, so the frequency of forest fire and the likelihood of a major fire occurring has increased. In this paper, we had a study about the relationship between the five meteorological factors and forest fires. By having a statistical analysis on the data of precipitation, the average temperature, average relative humidity, average wind speed, sunshine hours, and site pressure data in Sichuan province from2008to1979, we obtained the overall trend of climate change in30years in Sichuan Province; by having a space-time analysis on forest fires (fire frequency, fire area)on the corresponding time, we obtained the spatial and temporal distribution, and law the foundation for the study of climate change on the distribution pattern of forest fires. The main conclusions of the study are:(1)We had a research on the law of climate change, and the results showed that:In the past30years, the average annual temperature of the survey region had a significantly increasing trend. Entering into the21st century, the temperature has continued to rise. We experienced a continuous high temperature in2006,2007.The precipitation and the annual average relative humidity showed obvious decreasing trend and had great variation. The regional sunshine hours and the wind speed showed a declining tendency, but the tendency is not obvious. The sunshine hours and the pressure did not change significantly. The change of air pressure was small, and remained basically stable.(2) Results show that the study of the spatial and temporal patterns of forest fires The overall number of forest fires on the province show a downward trend over time to develop. Specific performance nineties of the last century, is relatively stable, and less than the number of forest fires occurred. Specifically, the1982peak is reached, and then decreased to1993,1998,2006three small peaks. Sichuan forest acreage general downward trend over time development. Similar to the inter-annual changes in the number of forest fires, forest fire acreage in the eighties of the last century, the nineties, basically a steady state of the acreage of the1990s.From space, the fire occurred mainly in Liangshan Prefecture, Panzhihua City, Ganzi, Aba, Yibin City, occurred less areas:Chengdu, Ziyang City, Deyang City.Liangshan Prefecture, Panzhihua City. Ganzi Prefecture, from the1980s, frequency and area of forest fire in all regions, stabilized at a low level.(3) Through the analysis of the effect of various meteorological factors of forest fire in sichuan province. The results showed that:Liangshan Prefecture, the number of fires, fire area with various meteorological factors are not linear significant relationship; the Panzhihua City fire the number of sunshine hours, significant at the0.05level, and other meteorological factor no significant relationship; Panzhihua is located in the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, the reasons of sunshine hours and more resources of coal, iron, and long-term in a multi sunshine weather conditions, fire-prone; wind speed, sunshine hours, precipitation the amount of fire hardest hit by forest fires occurred in Sichuan Province, has a significant relationship, other factors no significant relationship; Principal component analysis, a fire broke out in various regions have their own dominant meteorological factor, and random changes. In some year of fire, the cause of the fire, may be the result of some extreme climate.
