In this paper, Studied on soil physical properties and water dynamics under different vegetation types of Daqing mountain, the main research results are as follows:(1) Content of soil gravel under various types of forests: the surface was0.4%-25.7%, 20cm layer of soil was 4.9%-48.9%, 40cm layer of soil was 3.1% -72.8%, 60cm layer of soil was 2.4%-66.8%, 80cm layer of soil is 3.1 %-74.9%.(2) Various types of soil bulk density, soil bulk density, porosity, field capacity were 1.40, 47.18%, 16.75%. Saturated hydraulic in woodland shrub is the largest; Saturated specific water conductivity was maximum in natural forests of davidiana Dode among all trees, this showed that its indicated strong soil permeability and reduced runoff losses of surface. Saturated soil water storage capacity ranged from 2319.9 ~ 3 550. 4t / hm2, which davidiana Dode was the largest, davidiana Decne.-liaotungensis Koidz. Mixed forest was the smallest. And that illustrated nature forests of davidiana Dode had high soil water storage points and adjust water potential.(3) In the type of changes in the forest soil moisture, the dry season in May was 7.57% -22.77% and in June to 5.69% -16.20%; the rainy season, July to 9.96% -17.82% in August to 16.42% -28.09% and in September to 13.62% -26.92%.
