This subject is the experiment part of the project:"the study of screening and propagation of salt resistant plant in coastal area"financed by Natural Science Fund supporting science and technology project. In this paper, ornamental plant:Angela/ Rosahybrida/ ClimbingRoses./ Iris pseuda-corus/ Pratia nummularia/Liriope spicata var.Variegata/Rosa multifloraThunb.var.cathayensis Rehd.et Wils./Iris gemanica/Hemerocallis'stella deoro'biennial seedlings as the research object, Plants were tested and analyzed under condition of laboratory and in the filed in order to analyze the growth conditions of these plants under saline stress in TianJin, research the degree of salt resistance, investigate salt tolerance performance of ornamental garden, in order to provide a theoretical basis for greening and beautification. The results are as follows:1. Text can be conducted by way of direct cultivation to study on the salt tolerance of eight garden ornamental plants. The results for the natural state of reality, can be used for practice directly. Soil salinity of plot division are accurate, field cultivation are feasible.2. Hemerocallis'stella deoro'/Liriope spicata var.Variegat/Iris pseuda-corus/Iris gemanica/ Pratia nummularia/Rosa multiflora Thunb.var.cathayensis Rehd.et Wils. are resistant to different levels of saline soil, Hemerocallis'stella deoro'/Liriope spicata var.Variegata/Rosa multiflora Thunb.var.cathayensis Rehd.et Wils. performance especially.3. Soil salinity impact of varying degrees to different plants of different growth indicators. A mong them, Iris pseuda-corus/Pratia nummularia tillers or leaves have the strong sensitivity to soil salinity than height growth.4. Hemerocallis'stella deoro'/Iris gemanica/Rosa multiflora Thunb.var.cathayensis Rehd.et Wils.showed no obvious pattern on soil salinity changes in response.5. Rosa multiflora Thunb.var.cathayensis Rehd.et Wils. Is resistant to different levels of saline soil, its usually used as a precious rose varieties grafted rootstock, this will be the cultivation of saline soil on the rose to open a wider area.
