| Based on germplasm resources survey of Magnolia wufengensis, We have a preliminary understanding on the distribution of M.wufengensis, the living environment, accompanying plants, and germplasm resources of each regional. We choose 17 strains in four areas (Huang liang ping,Li zi ping,Gaofeng,Luo kuang yan).We make a detailed records including geographic coordinates, altitude, height, DBH, color, the number of petal etc. Collected annual branches as propagating materials and established seed resources.We investigate 11 varieties in Wuhan germplasm resources on 24 morphological index and use spss for Q and R clustering. then made classification retrieval. In R clustering, we can see the leaf length and width and leaf type, the flower types and petal length and width, the length of annual branches and inter-node length have a strong relevant, we can abandon one of them. Q clustering results show that in the line L1 (D=9.8) the varieties were divided into three groups. In the line L2 (D=7.2) the varieties were divided into five groups.The index of number of petal,color and the flower bud can be used as the as the standard of varieties division. And the leaf type, the flower types, color, the diameter of crown the color of perennial branches,the leaf bud,etc can be used for further division.Through measured the height and diameter growth index to learn the growth of physiological indices between Magnolia varieties. The result is that Red 6 grow fastest.Red 5, Red 10, Red 26, is also relatively fast growth..Red 8.,9 was comparatively slow in the height growth and diameter growth.. Through measured the physiological indicators, we can know that Red 5 had a strong, photosynthetic capacity. And the photosynthetic capacity of red 9, red 26'is relatively weak. This can be good for us to further screening as theoretical reference for Magnolia wufengensis. In the Cold Tolerance experiment,the LT50 of different varieties'branches range from-7℃to-15℃. Red 2 LT50 which was-15.03℃, and the LT50 of Red 13 is-15.99℃, they showed strong cold resistance. while the LT50 of Red 6 and Red 26 is-7.09℃,-7.64℃.the cold resistance is relatively weak. |
