Using three-year-old pteridium aquilinum as test material, the effects of different cropping patterns including plastic greenhouses, low tunnel and open field on physiological and biochemical indexes and productqualities of pteridium aquilinum; and the effects of storage temperature, films packaging, gas conditions on postharvest physiology, storage quality and preservative effect of pteridium aquilinum were carried out in this paper. Results showed as follows:1. The suitable air and soil temperature for pteridium aquilinum budding is 13℃~14℃and 11℃~12℃, for pteridium aquilinum stem emerging is 15℃~16℃and 12℃~14℃, for pteridium aquilinum conidial formation is 26℃~27℃and 20℃~22℃.2. Plastic greenhouse cropping could speed up the growth process of pteridium aquilinum, and the stem emerge time of plastic greenhouse was middle of March, about 27 and 39 days in advance compared with low tunnel and open field cropping. The yield of the plastic greenhouses reached 20800kg/hm2, increased by 33.33% and 50.72% respectively compared with that of low tunnel and open field cropping. Furthermore, the product of plastic greenhouse has the best qualities compared to the other two cropping patterns.3. Under the experiment conditions, suitable temperature for pteridium aquilinum preservation is-1℃, and the appropriate storage film is LDPE films.4. Under the gaven temperature and film conditions, proper CO2 and O2 proportion could maintain higher SOD and POD activity, decrease the content of MDA, maintain the respiration rate and ethylene release appropriately, reduce the loss of dry and fresh weight, then avail to the preservation of chlorophyll, soluble suger and Vc content. In this experiment, the best CO2:O2 proportion was 2%:6%, second was 6%:10%. The two combination could maintain the qualities of pteridium aquilinum primely, preserve the pteridium aquilinum above 15 days.
