Zanthoxylum bungeanam Maxim belong to Rutaceae, Zanthoxylum, originating in China. It is a dry, branch, leaf, really spicy with rich deciduous shrub or small tree, with high economic value. This study included 21 regional germplasms which come from Shaanxi, Hebei, Shandong, Gansu. The identification and classification of 21 germplasms were studied by the method of morphological markers and RAPD molecular markers combined with the use of variance analysis, cluster analysis, principal component analysis method. The major findings are as follows:1. The morphological research of Zanthoxylum bungeanum fruits phenotype. Based on 21 Zanthoxylum bungeanum fruits from the survey form, horizontal,Zanthoxylum bungeanum fruits phenotype are more abundant, various characters variation among samples. The average coefficient of variation was 21.06%, of which the maxiamum coefficient of variation was 38.96%(stalk length), minimum 10.28%(Wang fruit diameter). The samples were all characters to significant levels (p<0.05), shows great differences among germplasm resources. The fruits have certain phenotypic correlation, in which vertical and fruit shape index of fruit diameter, stalk length, kernel weight were significantly correlated with fruit diameter cross-grain weight also significantly correlated. Therefore in the study and formulate the fruit quality classification level can fruit comprehensive reference correlation index. So during the research and development of fruit quality classifications of fruit can be integrated reference to relevant indices.2. Morphologic study:Through the prickly ash annual seedlings Q clustering results from the same area did not show seed have close kin, do not reflect certain regional differences. Q pepper seedlings a year through the cluster, the results did not show the same region from a close relationship with germplasm, did not reflect some regional differences. Zanthoxylum bungeanum germplasms with the genetic background must not have the other resources. Through the annual Zanthoxylum bungeanum seedlings R clustering analysis show 23 characters are independent of each other, there must have correlation. The principal component analysis shows that the seed seedling classification in the morphological characteristics of leaf classification of this study found that annual seedlings traits principal component analysis and cluster analysis form the difference between the results, but the results, although closer.3. RAPD molecular markers:The best RAPD reaction system was established by single-factor test for systematic optimization of RAPD reaction conditions.30 RAPD primers were utilized to amplify the DNA of 21 germplasm resources of Zanthoxylum bungeanam. 257 DNA fragments were amplified,including 186 polymorphic bands (which stood for 72.37%),and each primer amplified 6.2 polymorphic locus in average. The genetic distances among different samples were calculated and cluster analysis was conducted. When the genetic distance among 0.5297-0.5763,21 germplasm resources cluster for the three groups, when the genetic distance among 0.4963-0.5037, it can cluster of seven groups. The analysis of RAPD reflected the complex genetic background and provided the supporting of the identification and classification of Zanthoxylum bungeanam.4. Combine these two marker systems analysis results showed that survival among 21 germplasms diversity. And morphological traits and RAPD cluster clustering is not consistent.
