With the long-term use of chemical pesticides, resistance of health pests is enhanced, and human health is affected. Botanical pesticides including natural pyrethrin and essential oils have many advantages, such as lowly poisonous, easy to be degraded, low residual, being safe for human and animals, pest is difficult to produce resistance, and no pollution of living environment, so they meet the needs of human for hygiedic insecticide and have broad application prospect. In this paper, fumigating toxicity of 6 kinds of essential oils against Musca domestica and Culex pipiens pallens was researched, the synergism of these essential oils and 12 kinds of plants extracts to natural pyrethrin, and A botanical pesticide aerosol was developed by formula selection. The main results were as follows:1. This paper researched the fumigating toxicity of 6 kinds of essential oils against Musca domestica and Culex pipiens pallens by flask method. The result showed that 6 kinds of essential oils had different degree of fumigating toxicity to Musca domestica and Culex pipiens pallens. Steam distillation mandarin oil, eucalyptus globulus oi, and lemongrass oil had the better fumigating toxicity against Musca domestica, and the KT50 of them was in 5.0 minutes. Nature wintergreen oil, lemongrass oil, and cold squeeze mandarin oil had the better fumigating toxicity against Culex pipiens pallens, and the KT50 of them was in 6.0 minutes. Lemongrass oil had the best fumigating toxicity against both Musca domestica and Culex pipiens pallens among 6 kinds of essential oils.2. Synergism of 6 kinds of essential oils and 12 kinds of plants extracts to natural pyrethrin was studied by micro-drop method. The result showed that 6 kinds of essential oils and 3 kinds of plants extracts had the better synergism. Lemongrass oil had the best synergism among 6 kinds of essential oils and the best ratio of lemongrass oil and natural pyrethrin was 8:1, and the SR was 1.567. 3 kinds of plants extracts were from H, C, and T.3. A alcohol-based botanical pesticide aerosol was developed. The amount of natural pyrethrin and tween-80 was 0.5% and 5.0%.4. By 5.8m3 hut method, the SR of lemongrass oil and natural pyrethrin in the ratio of 8:1 was 1.383. The SR of plants extracts from C, H, and J which were mixed with natural pyrethrin in the ratio of 10:1 was 1.202, 1.126, and 1.217.5. A botanical synergistic formula was identified by the complex formulation of natural pyrethrin, lemongrass oil and extracts from T. The formula was: 5.0% natural pyrethrin +5.0% tween-80+4.0% lemongrass oil+5.0% extract from cuscuta chinensis. Solvent is ethanol.6. A botanical pesticide aerosol-Q-T was developed according to the botanical synergistic formula, the emission rate, injection rate, internal pressure and pH of reagent were 99.56%, 2.061g/s, 0.59MPa, and 6.95, which were corresponded to the national standard requirement. The knockdown rate of Q-T against Culex pipiens pallens in 28 m3 mimic field test was 72% in an hour, and the 24h mortality was 69%.
