The experiment with the variety Zhongshu-3 and zihua-851 of sandwich straw as treatment,and conventional cultivation as control were were carried out to systematicaly study from yield, yield component biomass, leaf area index (LAI), photosynthetic potential, net assimilation rate, T/R, chlorophyll content, RUBP, Ca2+-ATP, Mg2+-ATP, glycolate oxidase, peroxidase, nitrite activity, soil temperature, soil, soil enzymes conducted a study aimed at high-yield winter potato in Fujian Province to provide the theoretical basis andreference. The main results are as follows:1. The yield of Zhongshu-3, zihua-851 with sandwich straw compared to yield of their increased by 23.4%, 17.47% respectively.significant diference was found between sandwich straw and control. Sandwich straw yield advantage originated from the cultivation had a higher average tuber weight and tuber number per plant.2. Sandwich straw potato biomass was higher than in the whole growth period, biomass of the control of conventional cultivation, especially in the 60-75 days of this period. This is the Core cultivation of high yield basis.3. The leaf area index in turn was the Zhongshu-3 with sandwich straw>Zhongshu-3 CK, Zihua-851 with sandwich straw>Zihua-851 CK. Sandwich straws in the whole growth period of the photosynthetic potential of potato are higher than the control-conventional cultivation. Photosynthetic potential of Zhongshu-3, Zihua-851 with sandwich straw was 18.81% and 16.97% higher than those of control respectively. Photosynthetic potential is high, especially Zhongshu-3with sandwich straw, followed by Zihua-851 with sandwich straw, were 3.99m2.d, 3.89m2.d respectively. Net assimilation rate of Zhongshu-3, Zihua-851 with sandwich straw were 23.34% and 21.39% higher than those of control respectively. Zhongshu-3, Zihua-851 with sandwich straw, in the early growth stage, of T/R value-were higher than the control. In 80 days after sowing, sandwich straw of the T/R values were also higher than the control. The results show that source-sink of sandwich straw was more coordination Compared to Conventional Cultivation.4. Chlorophyll content of Zhongshu-3, Zihua-851 with sandwich straw was higher than those of control, 5.94% and 4.79% respectively. Zhongshu-3, Zihua-851 with sandwich straw of potato in the whole growth period, photosynthetic key enzymes in-RUBP carboxylase activity is stronger than the control, especially in a period of 45 days after sowing, and they were 40% and 120% higher than those of control respectively. Sandwich straw of potato Mg2+-ATP activity is generally higher than in control throughout the growth period, particularly in the 60 days after sowing, the paCKage and purple paCKage Mg2+-ATP enzyme respectively, compared with their conventional cultivation were 293.99% and 59.61% high. Sandwich straw of potato to Ca2+-ATP activity in the whole growth period is generally stronger than the control.5. In the whole growth of the root activity of sandwich straw was significantly higher than the control, and the Zhongshu-3, Zihua-851 with sandwich straw of root activity increased by 29.97% and 35.39% than their control. 6. Sandwich straw in the soil layer of 10cm and 20cm soil temperature in the whole growth period were generally higher than the control. Sandwich straw could raise the soil bacteria, nitrogen-fixing bacteria, fungi, actinomycetes. ammonification bacteria nitrite bacteria, bacterial cellulose content of the whole growth period; they were markedly higher than the control. Especially in the 45 days after sowing, Sandwich straw soil bacteria, nitrogen-fixing bacteria fungi, actinomycetes, ammonification bacteria, nitrite bacteria, cellulose and the control of different bacteria have reached a significant level. Sandwich straw cultivation can effectively improved Soil enzyme activity compared to control. For example, catalase, cellulase, invertase, acid phosphatase. alkaline phosphatase activity. but for urease sandwich straw was lower than the conventional cultivation.45 days after sowing Zhongshu-3. Zihua-851 with sandwich straw of soil catalase activity was 0.146 and 0.141 times higher than conventional cultivation. In the harvest sandwich straw and their control had t small differences of catalase activity, a difference of only 0.001 NKnMO4ml/(g·min).sandwich straw of cellulase activity was significantly higher than the control, especially in the harvest.1.287 and 1.367 times than their control; invertase activity in the whole growth period were higher than control, in 45 days after sowing, Zhongshu-3, Zihua-851 with sandwich straw invertase activity were 1.315 and 0.932 times to the control; sandwich straw activity of the acid and alkaline phosphatase were higher than in control throughout the growth period, for example,45 days after sowing. sandwich straw of acid phosphatase activity is 1.29-fold to the control, alkaline phosphatase activity is particularly high in the harvest, Zhongshu-3. Zihua-851 with sandwich straw are 1.78 and 1.35 times to the their control respectively.These physiological characteristics and some soil properties showed that sandwich straw enhance the beneficial activity of soil enzymes by increasing the content of beneficial microbes which enhancement of soil enzyme activities to enhance mineral absorption, slow leaf senescence, photosynthetic capacity and coordinate aerial part and under-ground part better and so on, which may be the important reasons for high-yield to sandwich straw cultivation of potato.
